My wife and I and friend had an excellent experience at this quaint Italian restaurant. From the valet parking, the waitstaff, meeting the chef and the overall service was great. Food was perfect with excellent presentation and a lot to choose from. Make sure to ask what the specials of the night are, we had several and they were awesome. Am planning on returning soon.

This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Puerto Rico; true Italian cuisine with its unique flavors, combinations of savors and “light” sophistication. Chef Alberto Gianati puts as much dedication in something as basic as his (excellent) gnocchi 4 formagi as he does in his branzino served with a light white wine sauce and roasted vegetables. The menu offers a large variety of options which are complemented with the day’s specials based on the day’s fresh deliveries. Marí, the Maitre D, will help with your selection or accommodate practically any special request whether on the menu or not. Marí is full of energy and takes pride in maintaining the high standard of the establishment both in the kitchen and in the dining room. If you are wearing shorts and flip-flops and are looking for a pizza joint, this is NOT the place you’re looking for. The atmosphere is intimate, the dining room is small and patrons usually speak in a soft tone (rare occurrence in PR). If your children spend their time playing video games at the dining table or have a tendency to be loud, spare yourself the trouble and either leave them with the babysitter or look for another place. Having a meal at Casa Italia is like being invited to a friend for diner. It’s a privilege and not a due and it’s the chance to experience a unique gastronomical feat.

You wouldn't expect to find this high-quality Italian restaurant on an off beat street in the banking district Puerto Rico , Hato Rey. frankly I forgot about this place for a few years. its just in a location that you have to think about going but it is well worth the trip.
The minestrone soup what's fresh vegetables were done to perfection. The risotto with gorgonzola was the best this side of Milano. We went on a wednesday night and most tables were full 7 pm.... glad we re discovered. Will be back soon!!

Went here on a ti from a friend who insisted that I change my usual Italian restaurant for once. I must say that I was not dissapointed, the black linguini with salmon and prawns was excellent. The bit spicy aioli that they came in was flavorful and delicious.

Will be back
