Day one in San Juan, we visited for a late dinner. We later found a coupon in our hotel advertising and considered having it twice but our trip was short. We tried the shrimp mofongo and plantain soup and fried sweet plantains. We liked everything we tried but I'm not sure we would know good Puerto Rican cuisine from average faire. Prices were reasonable and service was leisurely and well suited to lingering over a drink or two,
