We ate dinner here several nights and enjoyed everything we had. The fish with passion fruit topping was one of our favorites. We also had the brunch, nothing special but a good breakfast. The desserts are wonderful! Get a dessert to go at least...you will go back for dessert again! The Italian cream cake and Key lime pie...yummy! You're on vacation so calories don't count!!

This was my first try at mofongo; a Puerto Rican staple, and it surpassed every expectation. I kind of made this trip the "mofongo tour" as I sampled quite a bit over the course of a week. None compared to the first at Bieques Bistro. My husband enjoyed the mofongo with chicken and I ordered the "pulpo" (Octopus.) Simply fantastic. I've learned that mofongo is kind of a balancing act and you fully expect almost each one to be different. The chef at Bieques Bistro has found the balance and then some. Exquisite food and amazing presentation. Our waitress (and bartender!) made terrific pina coladas and a darned tasty Long Island Iced Tea. Overall a fantastic dining experience.

If you like salsa with a taste like none you've ever had, you must try the homemade pique that Sonya makes and sells. It is truly remarkable--nothing Tex-Mex or store-bought--with the fresh tastes of Puerto Rico in every drop. We love it, if you haven't already figured that out. The food is good, freshly prepared, and one has to remember that it is "island time," so slow I down and relax.
Buy a bottle of Sonya's pique and take it home with you. You're gonna love it!

We were happily surprised by just how good our food was. To top that off service was equally good. They made you feel like they wanted you to come back and they made you feel full. We had a party of four and we made a point of ordering four different entrées to get a cross-section of the menu. No one was disappointed.
