Stayed there three nights in June with my wife. Great location half a block from the Malecon with its restaurants, and beach. Felt completely safe in property and in our nightly walk to eat at one of the restaurants on the Malecon. Room was very clean, everything worked good, fridge, AC. etc. There is no room service, but they will exchange towels and linens whenever requested. You do hear the symphony of the night creatures in the evening, which is going to be the same anywhere in this small town. I enjoy this treat of the rural tropics which quickly fade away as one is lulled into sleep..
Matt, part owner/manager was always very friendly and willing to help with anything. He is a great source of knowledge for local activities and info. Never got tired of my many questions, always pleasant and helpful. He called the car rental company for us after I flooded my cell phone at the beach and got a flat tired. Even offering that we leave the car parked at property if needed, until car rental company could come and fix flat. Since we were running out of time and had to catch the ferry out to the mainland.
We had a very pleasant stay here. A definite recommendation in this beach paradise.More
