This place has good coffee, but it is really over priced. The food is fair, not anything special. There is indoor and outdoor seating in a courtyard area. Not particularly kid-friendly.

We stayed in Vieques for a week. As we read the good reviews, we decided to go to Roy's Coffee Lounge for breakfast the next day we arrived. We never went back there again for the rest of the trip. The owner was not just unfriendly but hostile! The French Toast I ordered was a piece of thin bread with the egg uncooked on it. My husband's scrambled literally resembled goop! We asked for sugar for the cofee and were literally pointed towards another table which did have sugar. when we pointed out there was no sugar, the owner made a face because she had been interrupted from a chat with her friend and very reluctantly broguht sugar out. In sum, very poor service and food tastes terrible.

Vieques is all about unwinding and enjoying cocktails after a day at the beach. The Island lifestyle. But there are going to be urban visitors who can't live without their latte or iced coffee beverage. For them, there is Roy's, a pink house in Isabel II. Their coffee is excellent. And their rotation of pastries and sandwiches are also better than what you'd get at most island hotels. They also have free wi-fi, and a television showing the news of the world outside Vieques. The thing is, there is a high price to be paid for this caffeine and convenience. But if you need your fix, and you are not staying at the W, then this is the place, since the nearest Starbucks is in Fajardo, across four miles of Atlantic ocean. Here's a tip, however. Several bed and breakfasts, like Malecon House, serve good enough scones and coffee so that a trip here is unnecessary. So keep in mind the place you sleep might decide if Roy's is a necessary stop or not.

Right in the heart of Isabel, Roy's offered delicious breakfast options and comfortable outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

Yes, eh. Food, eh. Staff, eh. Owner, also eh. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and when you bike from one of the local barrios in the heat, you look forward to a little something nice. Bacon? Was thin and cold. Eggs, flat not fluffy. Breakfast burrito? Two hard scrambled eggs, a glob of gooey cheddar, two pieces of green pepper and a tomato. I topped it with the crusty bottle of hot sauce to burn it down. All in all? Eh.
