“Beautiful hike in the rainforest”
Reviewed 24 February 2014

This hike starts just above the Hilltop Cafe behind the blue water tank. Make sure you have good hiking sneakers. Some places are very steep. Also, take binoculars for the view at the top and to look at the Orioles if you're lucky enough to see them. We were not. It was a 45 minute walk to the top of the mountain where there is a clearing. The view is worth the hike.

“Excelent Walk to Get Idea About the Forest”
Reviewed 24 July 2012

It is located high in the hills, and set perfectly. Makes an easy one hour to two hours walk, and you can see plenty of plants, birds, butterflies and other nature. but to really enjoy it and get maximum advantage - consider hiking woth an amazing guide, the Scribber. Mr. Scribber is a legend in itself, and he works not only as a fantastic guide, but also mountain ranger. He will point you to many things, and even will call wild birds for you, so they come closer for you to see!

“nice trail if you stay on it”
Reviewed 10 May 2012

i started up Oriole trail, but decided I wanted to reach the mountain peak. This was a near disaster as the rain forest without a trail is quite treacherous. Once I found the trail on the steep descent it was a relatively simple walk. The trail meanders through thick forests with occasional glimpses of the blue caribbean

“Nature abounds”
Reviewed 4 May 2012

Great walk - 2.5 hours one way, taking it easy, plenty of water required (Platypus system perfect). Led by James "Scriber" Daly, who knows EVERYTHING there is to know about the trail - an absolute highlight - and that was before I saw the female Oriole.....
