Villa Palm was perfect for our annual visit to the island -- two professional American couples more interested in relaxation and beautiful scenery than the antics of Nikki beach. The property, while small in foot print, is well appointed -- with perfect finishings inside and out. The main room is filled with built-ins and has a wonderful accordion glass wall, which easily turns into an "open fourth wall". The dining pavilion is an welcomed addition and ties the back grounds together with the infinity pool--which is itself designed and constructed to the highest standards. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable with large walk in closet areas with makeup tables, safe and more than enough shelving and hangers for a month's stay. The bathrooms were large for this sized villa, with dual sinks, walk in glass shower and sliding door to the outside. Built in shutters in both bedrooms allow for complete black out for those who want to sleep in...or remain partially open to allow the glorious sunrise over Grand Cul de Sac to flood the room. Lighting was expertly installed, as well, with high end finishes. The driveway is difficult--but this is typical of almost every property on island. While a far drive from Gustavia, the property is next door to Le Sereno, Ghanahani and Hotel Toiny--all of which have excellent restaurants, beach-side service and lounges. Concierge was attentive and scheduled all of our restaurant and beachside reservations so we did not have to waste time nor try to translate. In all, an excellent package and we will return.
