“Best Marina on St Lucia”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

The marina is the best on the island and is surrounded by several very good areas to visit. The main entrance to the marina is on the Eastern (landward ) side. This entrance leads into a very nice, small complex of shops, bistros, cafes and ice-cream shop. It isn't a chic designer shop type place but it does have a small but expensive grocery, bakery, a bank and an excellent meat shop.
Its a nice place to sit on the small esplanade and boat/people watch. Around the Southern side of the marina lagoon (accessed from the main road to Castres) are several big shopping malls and designer shop area + Reduit beach where you can find plenty of excellent restaurants and bars. At the end of this Southern crescent is the sea entrance to the marina lagoon. On the Northern side of the marina (accesssed by the road leading out to Pidgeon Island/Cap Estate) is the marina facilities area - chandlers, fuel, water etc.

“Beautiful YACHTS”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

It looked like a yacht show. there was soo many different kinds of yachts. Lots of restaurants and night life. We wished we booked our hotel in that area, next time I go back to Saint Lucia I will definitely be staying in Rodney bay. There are Chinese restaurants, pizza restaurant, fish restaurants and grills, KFC, Subway, Burger king, Casinos. You will not be short of things to do in this area. Its a wealthy Island.
