The Coal Pot is one place that you must eat while in St Lucia!! The small size of the restaurant makes it so much better. Sitting right by the water isn't something that you can do at just any restaurant, even in St Lucia! The Coal Pot has a menu written on a large chalk board that they bring to your table. We were dining with another couple and all of us ordered the red snapper with different sauces. A few had the creole and I had the coconut curry. We all LOVED our food. The fish was cooked perfectly and was seasoned in such a perfect way. All of the veggies were awesome and there were a lot of them. The portions were very large, so much food for the money!! It rained while we were eating and they can drop down a shade to keep the rain off you, we opted to keep it open so we could see the water and experience the rain. If we return to St Lucia we will for sure go to the Coat Pot! Oh and all the food is served on one of Michelle Elliot's hand painted plates. You can't just buy these anywhere so if you want one you have to buy one when you see it! We found some of her work at our resort and purchased a beautiful sushi plate that is really our only souvenir from the entire trip!! We will always remember our evening there. Thank you Coal Pot :)
