We got married at Windjammer, on the beach with the most wonderful surroundings I have ever experienced. Mel, our wedding advisor, was absolutely wonderful, she kept us fully updated whilst we planned and made us feel relaxed and confident that everything we wanted on our big day was sorted with minimal fuss, from flowers to arranging taxis for our guests and our speed boat ride with the fab captain Dell- we can't thank you enough Mel :)

If your planning your wedding get the photo package Mel suggests, the photographer was amazing and the lovely lady who did my hair and makeup was an absolute star!

The hotel was simply beautiful, food was absolutely amazing and room service prompt. Didn't go in the pools much because of the fantastic beach just a minutes walk from our hibiscus suite. The swimming area was safe and clearly marked out and there was so many water sports options we didn't know what to choose! Watch the jet ski guys though, they aren't associated with the hotel (as clearly advertised) and their watch runs faster than ours did!!

The maid we had was lovely and when our little girl was asleep she would either tip toe quietly around or come back once we left- she even mentioned to her manager that we were getting married and on the day, we were surprised by having our room decorated with beautiful flowers!

All the staff were friendly and helpful and made our little girl feel really at home, making her giggle and play with them.

Mosquitos weren't a problem unlike some other resorts we heard about during our stay and I am amazed by the lack of hassle we had with the time share seller, one simple no thanks and we were left alone!

It's hard to put into words how wonderful our stay was other than the best two weeks of our life!

Windjammer- we can't thank you enough!

We borrowed a friends' time share for two weeks as they did not wish to use it this year. We were delighted wih our experience . This is the first "do little" type of holiday we have had and there is little to complain about . We are now in our 70s.
We do not possess any gadgets to access the internet and the facility that used, apparently, to exist has been removed. So we were unable to send or receive emails .
The staff are attentive and friendly .
The food in the restauants is not exactly haute cuisine but perfectly acceptable
The villa we occupied is now perhaps a little dated but again perfectly acceptable
All in all , a really well run and delightful place to stay which I can warmly recommend

As first time visitors to St.Lucia, we were unsure of what to expect when we booked the Windjammer Landing. However, we couldn't have asked for anything better during our week stay. High points included the villa style accommodations, as well as beautiful beach and pools. There was a lot of selection at each of the 5 restaurants, and we never walked away from a meal disappointed. We stayed about half way up the hill which provided for amazing views of the ocean, and the shuttles to and from the main hotel area were always very quick. The hotel staff was nothing but friendly. If we didn't run into our main man Darrel during the day, he personally called us in the evening to make sure we were getting everything we required and to see if there was anything he could help us with. It was pretty amazing service. We had a couple of self inflicted mishaps, including smashing glasses and locking ourselves out of our room safe. Each time the maintenance / security came to our rescue within 10 minutes, and Darrel quickly followed up to make sure everything was ok.

Our week holiday was definitely not long enough. I would highly recommend doing the Land and Sea Tour, as well as the Magic Mountain tour to get a breathtaking 360 degree view of the Pitons.

The lowest point of the entire trip was having to leave. Unfortunately my offer to stay and work as a pool hand was turned down, but I'm confident we will be back in the future to enjoy the beautiful weather, scenery...and RUM PUNCH!!!

I stayed here with my teenage daughter last September. We travelled around the Caribbean but this was by far one of our favourite hotels. As the hotel is built on the side of a hill, you get beautiful views. There's a shuttle service that takes you to and from your room. Staff a warm but don't get in your way. Food was excellent. The vendors on the beach were friendly an my daughter had her hair braided by a lovely lady who has a jewellery stall on the beach. The fruit man comes to sell fruit by boat and it's one of the most colorful boats I have ever seen. Spa treatments we good. Overall a fantastic experience. I suggested it to a friend who's booked her summer holiday here this year.

I got married at the Windjammer in February 2014 and it was THE BEST experience EVER! Lynn and Mel the wedding planners are each excellent. They are super helpful, responsive and will have a calm and easy can do attitude the entire planning process as well as the day of the wedding.
I choose the Windjammer for my ceremony based on reviews and the fact that my guests could choose between AI and A la carte. Also, since many of my wedding guests were coming alone, I needed a place that was not "couples only". We honeymooned at Sandals (Which was also AMAZING!) but got married at the Windjammer, and I couldn't have asked for a prettier, or smoother wedding!
The day of the event, my planners had a rain plan, and were able to "upgrade" my ceremony to one of the large villas with a lovely pool and deck view. My husband and guests were SUPER pleased with the location and with the staff! Our reception was GORGEOUS at the Embers restaurant, and our pre reception/cocktail hour food and drinks were a HIT! People are still talking about how amazing every aspect of the wedding and reception was.
I can not thank the staff at the Windjammer enough for all of their help! Lynn J was THE BEST and made everything special for my very special day!
Thanks Windjammer!

Room Tip: The Villas are a little pricier but worth the extra money for the amazing views! Also, the shuttle i...

Not only is the resort beautiful, the accommodation first class and the facilities excellent, I think that what makes the Windjammer very special is the feeling of community that the staff create. Everyone does all they can to make sure that your experience is enjoyable and memorable. There are activities for all age groups and everything is done with a smile on their faces. I really recommend the water sports activities - snorkelling with Romanus and Winston was magical. They take you to spots where you see an amazing range of tropical fish and are really informative and look after you. We've had a wonderful holiday so thank you everyone at the Windjammer - see you next year!

This is the nicest property I have ever stayed at. Upon our arrival, the personal concierge was a very nice touch! The room was clean, and the view was spectacular. Our villa had a hot tub on the deck, and the view was amazing. Even though there were 4 units, side/by/side the way the decks were laid out, the lower ones were able to be seen from the ones above. Ask for one with the top deck if you want maximum privacy. The internet was easy to set up, but we had problems on day 4 that were never resolved. I made two calls to the front desk but no one every came to fix it. Wi-fi was available elsewhere on the property, so I would check emails from the lobby or the restaurants. Asked for more creamer for coffee and it came the next day. We had both good and bad meals at the restaurants. Papa Don's had great pizza. We made reservations for 6, but when we got to the restaurant, they said they didn't open until 6:30, so that was a little odd...the person who answered the phone and took the reservation did not tell us that. So, we took the shuttle bus to the lobby bar and had a few drinks. Believe me, you will only walk from the room to the lobby one time. Our villa was in the 400's and we walked down one time only. I have to admire the house keeping staff, as they make this walk every day.

The all inclusive package was around $200 US/day, which was a little more than I wanted to pay. Even though it included all of the water sports, except for jet ski, it would be nice to have a "meals only" for those people who don't want to use a paddle boat every day.

We took a $18 taxi ride (yeah, taxi's are expensive) about 5 miles away to Rodney Bay where they have a shopping plaza and grocery store. We bought bread, milk, snacks, rum, and other items that we could fix in the room. It's nice to not have to leave the room every time you want something.

The manager's reception was very nice. It seemed like the whole resort came down for the happy hour and nibbles. They also had local artisans who had items for sale. There was a fashion show about the national clothes and a lady sang their national anthem. Afterward, they had dancers who juggled and breathed fire.... a really good show! The dinner we had that night was at Jammers', the casual restaurant on the beach. The food this night was not good at all. Everything tasted like it was left over from the buffet from earlier in the day. The potatoes were shriveled and dried up, french fries were soggy, and the chicken was tough and leathery. I took about three bites and left the rest on the plate. There were 6 of us in our party that night, and no one enjoyed their meal.

They did a little sales pitch regarding a time share with the island, but that was fine.

Overall, it was a wonderful vacation that I would take again in a heartbeat!!!

Room Tip: If you have the choice, choose a villa that is the top floor. Our villa had 4 units, and the way the...
