Although, I am not catholic, I thought it would be interesting to see this landmark church in downtown Castries. Located right across the street from the nicely manicured Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott Square, this cathedral structure is richly beautiful, especially the inside décor and angelic wall paintings. Over 70 percent of the island is Catholic, so this gave me a look into one of their worship facilities. Great to see if you are in Castries visiting the Castries market, Parliament, or Central Library, as they are all in walking distance of each other. Also good for visiting if you are coming in from a cruise ship for the day.

If you are in Castries, stopping at the church is totally worth it. It is near the town square with the "Big" tree, and just a few blocks from the Castries Market. Absolutely beautiful, and such rich history to behold!

Must visit for any Catholic. It is located within the Castries City Centre. There is a lot of rich history and the architecture is truly colonial

Quiet oasis in a busy part of town. Lovely art restoration showing ethnic versions of religious figures. Interesting ceiling architecture.
