The small island of St Lucia has alot to offer. No where more so than Rendezvous

The small drive, to a very warm welcome, im told to leave my bags, go to the beach lounge area check in and relax im on holiday...i didnt look back from then.
Rendezvous is the place wher you think it they provide it, if its food and drink or solving boredum to improving your swing.

We had a lovely Garden Room on the third floor with a lovely view of the lush grounds. Yes rooms are basic but clean, with a radio/CD/Ipod dock if necessary. Lovely REN toiletries in the bathroom. Jugs of drinking water and lovley balcony to watch the sunset and rise.

The meal times are as big or as small as you like. Again you think what you want to eat and it will come up in the week. Nachos and hotdogs by the pool..not your thing...burger and chips for lunch...New Zealand Lamb...we had 6 types of cooked fish ...salads, ice creams beef wellington. All the themed nights allow you to eat several styles in a week and not get bored. The Barbeque on the beach is amazing

We tried the cycle ride into Castries which is a 90 minute tour of the city by Dino of the cathedral and market areas, handy for souveniers of t-shirts, dolls, fridge magnets
Water arobics everyday with Pauline a must even if you think its not your thing give it a go everyone else does. Archery great even if you havent done it before. Beach cricket, dancing lessons, walks to the lighthouse (great views of the bay).
If the activities arnt your thing its not a problem, you want a quiet life its fine, the drinks will come to you at the pool, even if you dont ask, great service, chamapagne, rum punch , water you can have it. Cold towels when it gets hot.

There are three pools. the main one, spa pool, and lazy river plus the sea is very warm. Plenty of loungers, umbrellas, even double beds for that romantic cuddle or if you have had enough just hop into a hammock they are all over the property.

There are two tennis courts (floodlit) which can be for fun or a lesson, a gym, with full equipment and air coditioned.

Plenty of little areas around the property to do what you want, chat, drinks, sleep , get involved , people watch.

There is a lovley new "departures" lounge which is whne you have to check out and has lovely showers and lockers and towels to get changed

If you want to catch up with the real world there are cable fed TVs in the gym with BBC news and CNN and sports channels. Also internet in the lobby plus twice a week a local newpaper and a bookshelf with left over books from past guests

Small shop on site sells everything, reasonabily price including duty free items and the famous t-shirts. If you want a little more go out of the hotel gate turn left and straight over the roundabout an dther is a Super J supermarket. Sells most items

Finally the best till last the helicopter tour of the island is the best thing ever. Book with them dircet when you arrive and great vlaue at $175 each. the views are amazig and you get the commentary too. Book with them direct not in the UK as its very expensive otherwise

Im happy to advise anyone else thinking of this resort with what else ther is to do or how much things cost

Room Tip: Garden View Rooms are best on the third floor for the views

We liked this resort being couples only. It felt very quiet, nice and romantic. Loved the secret gardens and the spa pool best. There was always something fun to do if you are interested in taking part. Staff very friendly, and other guests too. There was a lot of sharing tables and meeting of other people going around, everyone laid back, all in all a very relaxing break.
Food in the terrace restaurant was a bit repetative, but very nice too, always something to choose from, and the deserts were the best.
The rooms in the main building can do with a touch, and some were just having that while we stayed, so I am sure management are on the case. Furniture a bit outdated, bathroom in desperate need of refurbishment. I could smell the musty smell on the pillows other guests mentioned. The room we stayed in I will rate at the best of 3 star. The resort on the other hand is full marks. But, in this place you will not want to be spending much time in your room. You want to be by the pool or soaking that view of the best blue in the world.
We would like to return one day.

We spent the first week here of our honeymoon from 13th May 2012 and we loved every minute of it. Everything was perfect. Very welcoming on arriving, all the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The staff do not expect tips because it states in the welcoming booklet that tips are included in the price so there is no need to tip. The staff are friendly reguardless therefore you know it is genuine! We were upgraded to the beachfront suite which was lovely inside with 4-poster bed and own terrace facing the pool and beach with lovely garden surroundings. All the accommodation is in a lovely setting.

It wasn't packed out with people, everyone has their own space, you are spaced out where ever you sit. The food was out of this world, tasted amazing and so much choice. The entertainment was also excellent and there's activities if you want to do them or you can just chill-out and relax, there's no pressure. The beach is lovely and the water activities are all included as well, we had a free sailing lesson and windsurfing lesson and then you can take out a small boat or a windsurf at your leisure. There's also water ski-ing, scuba diving and a few other water activities available.

The planes fly over are hardly noticeable, they didn't bother us at all.

On our 2nd week we stayed in a more expensive hotel in Antigua which didn't compare to this hotel, we kept moaning that it wasn't as good as the rendezvous! We could not fault this hotel and highly recommend.

Room Tip: I highly recommend the beachfront suite but all the accommodation looked nice.

We've not long arrived back from an 8 night holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were fantastic and the food, service and entertainment was also very good. The helicopter transfer is a must! We upgraded to a Seaview Suite which we would also recommend as this is right by the main pool with extra space and seaviews. You will get people coming round the pool talking you into an $85 massage, a sunset cruise at $60 etc, or maybe a secluded dinner at approx $200, which considering this is an all inclusive, may seem a little over the top. We will go back in the next few years as its definately one of the best all inc. we have been to.

Purchased a day pass when we stopped in St lucia on a cruise. Found this resort listed on trip advisor. $60 for a half day pass including lunch, beach, games, O and all the beverages you can consume. $10 cab ride from the pier. This place was awesome a little small but this is great no waiting for anything and it becomes quite intimate. All the staff very friendly and helpful. I have never had lunch on a terrace right on the beach, amazing. We only stayed for the day but I could very easily see going back and staying 3-4 days with no worries.

It was clear from the start that this vacation was going to be special. The trip from the airport to the resort is long, but you get to see the life in St. Lucia. It is like a ride at Disneyland.:) Once we arrived we were welcomed ina beautiful open air porta de shar. We already started to relax. We stayed in a cottage on the beach. which was quite nice. It is close to the beach but away from the main building. It was a lovely walk each evening. From what I could tell there is a room for what ever you perfer.
the buffet was wonderful. Something different every day. We perfered the buffet to the restaurant. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Make sure you arrange for a private dinner on the beach. It is so worth it. Very romantic.
We really enjoyed the couples only.
The beaches are public so there is alot of local flare especially on the weekends and holidays. Not problem! There is secruity and they are always around.

We renewed our vows. The day was just perfect. Thanks to Sandra and Vince the photo guy.

I wish I could remember everyone's name the staff was great. If you like low key and relaxing this is for you.

We've just arrived back from our honeymoon and we couldn't have asked for a better place. We felt like royalty right from the moment we entered the hotel. They gave us a cocktail straight away and then took us to our room where we received a free upgrade and some lovely treats to start our holiday. We stayed in a Beachfront suite, which had a perfect view, lots of space and a very comfortable bed, but from what we could see most rooms looked good, some were just set further back. The food was lovely, we didn't have one bad meal or get bored. There is one main buffet restaurant where they did a different theme every night. But you must also try the Trysting Place restaurant, a little more fancy, but just as nice. But men don't forget to take some trousers and shoes!
The staff were brilliant, very friendly and polite, couldn't do enough for you. They did some entertainment most evenings, which was very good to watch!
If your looking for a chilled out holiday you will get it there, but if you enjoy doing a bit more there are plenty of activities to keep you going. The staff try and get you involved but aren't pushy if you say no.
I would definitely return to this hotel and definitely recommend you give it a go!

Room Tip: If you want to be a bit more secluded go for a beachfront cottage
