We have just returned from a 12 night break at this beautiful place. We also got married here which was out of this world, Sylvanus the gardener beautifully decorated our chosen place on the beach with fresh flowers picked from the garden, the whole setting was amazing.
The staff are all so genuinely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. A special thanks to Mavis and Haige who we truly loved.
The food is so delicious and the choice is just amazing, the detail and preparation that goes into the meals is of very high standard.
We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this lovely place.

Having recently returned after a fabulous 2 weeks at beautiful East Winds, I would like to pass on our sincere gratitute to all the wonderfull staff at East Winds whose hard work made our holiday very special! It was so nice to see everybody again, 'the lovely' Hannah, Lilia , Miriam , Debbie, Fina , Elie, Windell, Simeone, Gurvy, Haige, Kerwin ,Jonah, Narcis, kensley, etc , love to you all and thank you!

This was our second visit to East Winds inn, as we rebooked almost the moment we landed after our first trip last year and once again East Winds was fantastic! The beautifully manicured gardens, lovingly tended by Sylvanus and his team of gardeners are breathtaking! Not only are they a Botanical delight, they host a huge array of birds, little frogs, small gecko lizards, land crabs etc!Just sitting outside our cottage spotting humming birds, listening to the cacophony of buzzes, chirps and whistles was shear joy!

Once again the staff shone! Everybody is so warm and friendly and a pleasure to be among, It really is like spending your holiday with friends and family, a true credit to East Winds! Always with a smile, often a laugh (especially Windell Bird), and forever with the fabulous St Lucian warm hospitality!
The food was, once again, wonderful, lunch time bbq with freshly cooked Dorado, Marlin, Lamb chops etc was very enjoyable, (take an outside table for this), all cooled by one of Kerwins epically good frozen Margaritas! Evening meals were a treat, nibbles and a cocktail in the Bamboo lounge to start then sit down to 4 courses of very tasty, well presented food accompanied by jazz musicians or a pianist! Special thanks to Charlie and his band, Manmay Lakay, who we always enjoy immensely!
Rooms, again very comfortable, with a nice 'homely' feel to them, always spotlessly cleaned everyday! We even asked for the same room again because it was like returning home!

Well it has been a week since our return, I have recovered from jet lag, 'over' the long and tiring journey home but still have a pain in my heart caused by the separation from my St Lucian family! 'Til we meet again!

Our Kindest Regards

Steve, Joanna & Amber

Exhausted from our long yet worth while journey. This was our second stay in the glorious East Winds hotel. It was like slipping back into your favour item of comfortable clothing. Again from our first meeting in the office we were welcomed with open arms back to our second family. We love you and miss you all individually for all the hard work and effort that you all put into making our stay the amazing holiday it has and will always be.

Thank you again and we will be back xx

We have just returned from our second visit to East Winds and it was even better than the first.

If you enjoy total relaxation, warm hospitality and good food then this is the place for you. If you are looking for party central then it is probably best to try somewhere else.

Difficult to add to the amazing complimentary reviews of this hotel in paradise, except that they all reflect on the wonderful ambience of this hotel.
It is hard to imagine anywhere that beats the relaxing atmosphere there or the incredibly friendly service from all staff at all times.
It is a joy to wander around the excellently maintained gardens, and speak to the Head Gardener who has great pride in his project. Although there are 30 bungalows/rooms the layout within the gardens you almost feel you are in your own individual garden. The birdlife and sounds of the insects/birds/frogs just add to the relaxing feel of the place.
The all inclusive catering couldn't be faulted - breakfast provided locally produced fruits, and omelets to order and plenty of other options. Lunch also provides plenty of options and variety from day to day, including deliciously BBQ'd fresh fish/meat.
The highlight of the day is the evening meal - limited to 3 choices for each of the 4 courses, but most days we were still spoilt for choice. Most evenings some much appreciated low key musical accompaniment added to the night.
Ample refreshments of all description were available throughout the day, including a help yourself swim up bar (perhaps a reflection of the clientele was that the only drink we noticed running out was sparkling mineral water)
Our first time in St Lucia was not a disappointment either - grown up children loved the zip wiring in the tropical rain forest.
For a family that usually goes somewhere different every year we plan to make an exception with the East Winds, and look forward to return visit in the near future

Room Tip: All rooms are delightful - the standard rooms are nearer the facilities and the beach

A slightly delayed review of our stay here last October. We have always wanted to stay at East Winds mainly due to the glowing reviews it gets on TA and we were not disappointed. Our room was spotless - large and airy and the problems that we had with the air con were dealt with swiftly and with minimal disturbance. The complimentary welcome bowl of fruit and bottle of rum was a nice touch. The dining at night is a fairly formal affair; to be sitting listening to the waves lapping on the beach, whilst enjoying a 4 course dinner with a pianist playing the Steinway piano is a unique experience that we will both treasure.
East winds is a lovely resort, very quiet and intimate, with some of the friendliest and helpful staff that we have met. We will definitely return.

Have just returned after two weeks at East Winds. The resort was about 50% occupied so consequently there were only about 25-30 people around. This suited us perfectly and we were able to relax with only the sounds of the birds and frogs to disturb us. We were in one of the round garden cottages and it was all we needed, clean, spacious and cool. On our day of departure we were given a courtesy room which was an upgrade to the one we stayed in and unless you need a TV I would say don't bother, it had a step down shower but was a smaller room than ours! The food, as has been stated elsewhere is superb, different every day and plenty of choice. The BBQ, although delicious was a little slow at times but is worth waiting for. The staff are all extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you, it would be unfair to pick any individual out, they are all ambassadors for the resort and do a great job. My only criticism and it is minor is that the photographs of the beach are very cleverly done and it is not a perfect crescent of golden caribbean sand, however it is clean and the water is very clear and East Winds can do nothing about this. To end I would say that if you want a quiet, relaxing break with attentive staff and beautiful food then you will not go far wrong at East Winds!

Room Tip: The basic rooms are fine and are bigger than the next rooms up!

Just a word on our barbeque, it may appear a little slow at times and that is simply because all the fish and meats are cooked to order in front of our guests ,as you will have experienced first hand.
