“Chef O'Nell Does it again”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

Another great evening at Flavours. I would normally simply recommend Flavours to my guests and expect nothing but great reviews. And that we always get. It is altogether a different experience to actually enjoy the grill. Well done Chef O'Nell. The mango chutney is a first but not the last. The entire family enjoyed the flavourful artwork you seem to master with the Mahi mahi. I should visit more often AND remember to always give a review. Well done again my friend.

“The Best!”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

Flavours of the Grill was recommended to us by a local taxi driver. Full of trepidation we arrived at Flavours in a small street in Gros Islet not really knowing what to expect. The building is wooden and very clean and seems to be authentic Caribbean which was a most welcome change from our resort restaurants. We drank excellent cocktails followed by delicious food. One of my daughters reckoned that her steak was one of the best she had ever eaten. There is a good choice of fish, meat or vegetarian and everything is of high quality and very reasonably priced. The flambé bananas are worth going for on their own. The chef and owner is O'Neill who is charming and he and his attentive staff are most welcoming and do their utmost to make one's visit memorable.

We visited three times during our two week holiday including on a Friday when they only offer a barbecue. The seafood kebabs and spare ribs were out of this world!

Overall a great atmosphere with delicious food. In my opinion a real must to visit. We recommended it to several people we met and most of them did try it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

“Authentic.”
Reviewed 6 April 2014 via mobile

We have been coming to St.Lucia for 5 years, but this is the first time we have been here. It was recommended by friends. We loved it! Great food, good wine, good value, great staff & a very authentic Caribbean atmosphere. We will be back.

“Delicious Food”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

We ate there the first evening we arrived in Gros Islet and we fell in love with creole cuisine.
The "Catch of the Day" was outstanding. Lucky for us we stayed in a guest house across the road and we were able get some take out even when the restaurant was very busy. I loved their fish cakes for late night snacks.

Well worth a visit if your in the Gros Islet area, top quality local food, very well presented and very reasonable prices. Lambi (conch) EC45 (£10) Jerl chicken EC 30(£7) beer EC5(£1.20). This place looks and feels like a true St Lucian restaurant.
