This resort is a very relaxing and enjoyable place to be; whether you are alone, with your partner or family. It is essentially a home away from home.
My personal jingle for St. James Club (SJC) is "Excellent service + Excellent cuisine + Excellent accommodation = Excellent vacation." I would recommend SJC to anyone because its the perfect getaway.

Room Tip: It really doesn't matter which room you are at. as long as you are on the compound of SJC you wi...

St James Morgan bay gros islet is a nice place to stay for the price. (If you can afford Sandels then go to Sandels but this place was fine for our budget). It's not a brand new resort but it is clean and they are updating the facility, food was very good at bamboo for breakfast and dinner, plum grill was good for lunch, tree top was good for Italian and they have gluten free pasta. Beach front in 500 block was true beach front. 600 & 700 blocks are more pool view and noisy from pool and nightly entertainment. 1200 & 1100 blocks are up a hill but true ocean view. The staff are fantastic, funny and very friendly! Swim up pool bar is great. Water sports were fun but have to sign up early in morning especially if a beginner. Also Water is not turquoise but very clean and nice to swim in, so plan on st Thomas or other island if expecting turquoise water.

Also I would recommend using St Lucia airport shuttles. Janus was very helpful with the transfer from the hotel and cheaper than using our hotel. If you can afford the helicopter to resort... do that!!! The road are falling apart and missing in a few sections from previous storms. If you go by car it's a long drive after a long flight!

Would also highly recommend doing Joy's cruise to volcano, waterfall, lunch, very good snorkeling and rum drinking on speed boat for one of your day tours!!! That was the highlight of our trip.

Zip-lining was good for a rainy cloudy day. Wear an old dark color clothing though! Must be able to climb stairs.

Also I would say bring small dollar bills $1,$5, $10 with you for tips and smaller bartering purchases around the island. It's hard to get small change in us money if you come with $20. You'll also end up with a lot of Caribbean money that way.

Rum tour was only worth going to find which types of rum I prefer. If you know which you like then save your money and spend the day at the beach and just buy duty free at uvf airport before you leave!!! We also purchased admiral Rodney aged rum recommended by tour guide. Can also get vanilla essence/spices at airport gift shop for a dollar more than what I bartered in the Castries market.

Fun time, hot & humid, buggy in some areas away from resort..bring bug spray. Most buggy was Marigot bay.

Excellent complex, food, drink, activities and most of all the staff were brilliant. We will go back for sure. The restaurants where all quality in there own right. Great place for families and couples.

Room Tip: Request the higher floors for better view of the sea.

This is your typical and affordable get away for family with kids. The resort boasts of 6 restaurants, 6 bars, 4 pools and 1 beach. Ideal for teenagers, kids and parents in need of alone time. The rooms are clean, food is tasty and the staff is outstandingly accommodating and very friendly. There is a kids' club, kids' play park with kids' pool with never ending stream of food and drink.

Parents, this is your home away from home when traveling with kids.

Room Tip: The hilltop rooms provide the ocean view but are generally too far away from the main entertainment...

We have just returned ffrom a fortnight in St Lucia staying at the St James Hotel, Morgan bay. What attracted us to this hotel was the great selection of restaurants and fine dining options with waiter service. We was not dissappointed. The drinks at the hotel were excellent with many branded spirits available. We enjoyed the swim up bar late afternoon and the cocktails served were terrific especiaslly those served to us by the lovely Michelle.

We were very well looked after during our stay and the staff are fantastic every one of them. We could not leave this review without mentioning Wilson who was responsible for guest relations. He was an absolutely top draw - what a lovely man and superb professional.

We also enjoyed the excellent shows on offer most evenings.

We throuroughally enjoyed our stay even though there were many shwers - only to be expected at this time of the year.

We would definately come back to this hotel.

St. James's Club is an all inclusive resort that is very good at doing what it says on the tin.
Great location right on a good sized beach. Good pool area that was never overcrowded. The choice of restaurants gave the opportunity to try different cuisines over the week that we visited. Sometimes they tried a little too hard to be different and it didn’t quite work but overall the food was good.
We had booked a garden view room but were pleasantly surprised on reaching the balcony to be able to see the sea! As the resort is on a gentle hillside even the lower priced rooms enjoyed a nice vista.
The evening entertainment was varied but all with a great Caribbean feel. The staff were always up for a dance at any time of the day!
The best part of the all inclusive package though is the amount of free water sports. The catamaran "Hobbies" were great fun and even a trip out on the banana boat ride was included.
I would recommend this resort for anyone wanting to get a taste of the Caribbean and more!

The resort was beautiful and easy to get around. The food was excellent. We ate at every restaurant and enjoyed each one. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The watersports were fun and they had lots of options. Our beachfront room was too close to the nightly entertainment for our tastes and the hotel moved our room which had an even better view of the Caribbean Sea. Loved the Coco Bay Café - a coffee and tea place where mini desserts are available all day long. They even served high tea in the afternoon. We would definitely return to St. Lucia again.

Room Tip: Beachfront rooms have an amazing view.
