Description: Mango Tree Restaurant, like the resort itself is tropically elegant. The al fresco dining pavilion looks out over a small river stone pool and takes in the magnificent Petit Piton and views of the Caribbean Sea. Stonefield Estate Resort features 3 exciting menus, rotated each day.Our chef and his culinary team use all fresh local market ingredients to make the freshest, most delicious St Lucian flare. All herbs and vegetables grown on property are organic and the former plantation still yields the seasonal citrus, mango and breadfruit which are incorporated into the daily menus. The Mango Tree Restaurant features a special vegan menu, as well as a children’s menu. And to stir it up true Caribbean style, The Mango Tree presents a rotating dinner theme menu featuring the popular Barbecue Thursdays, a charming Creole evening with a live local shak shak band and the best baby back ribs and jerk bake on the west coast. The Saturday Market Affair serves up the best of what has been freshly procured at the nearby Soufriere market with live entertainment from local musicians. Whether you dine under a full moon with Petit Piton cast in shadow, under the starriest of nights, or witness passing ships alight, The Mango Tree Restaurants brings diners the perfect marriage of location and gourmet Creole. The Mango Tree is open for breakfast from 7.30 am until 11:00 am and is open for lunch and dinner until 10:00 pm. Plantation House, the large signature villa on property features a full kitchen and the option for an in house chef for your stay.

Ate here twice. The better of the two was the Thursday night BBQ. The ribs were very good and the sides delicious as well. Great views and great service.

“Lovely charmer”

Good views. Good service. Fabulous views over the bay. Food is fine -- not as pretentious as Boucan. But delicious.

“Delightful restaurant”
Reviewed 22 December 2013

We were staying at Stonefield Estate, so we ate at the Mango Tree on numerous occasions. Although dinner was a little expensive, lunch and breakfast were reasonable, and the food was delicious!

The view alone is breathtaking. It's like having a private balcony overlooking the Pitons, and for a sunset view it can't be beat.

Breakfast was included with our villa, so we enjoyed satisfying and tasty breakfasts every morning. There were lots of locally produced options available, and a great selection of teas.

Lunch was filling and delicious, and pretty reasonably priced. Good variety of things available, from Carribean-inspired dishes to more American-type fare.

Dinner could be expensive. We ate a BBQ buffet one evening, and while it cost a bit more than we expected, it was amazing, and there was a wide variety of food to choose from. Terrific after-dinner entertainment of some local fire eaters and acrobats made for an unforgettable night.

“Charming staff, AMAZING view”
Reviewed 9 December 2013

Overall, the breakfast options at Mango Tree are much higher quality than the standard complimentary breakfast at most hotels. They were the perfect way to start your day of adventure in St. Lucia. The view from the covered patio, of course, was the best part. Service was always given with a smile, and I appreciated the formality with serving (full sets of silverware and glasses on the table, plates presented to the left and removed from the right, and constant filling of water). Suggestions for improvement include offering refill of drinks at dinner (Keith always had to flag a server down to ask for another beer) and being a little more attentive when tables are done. We realized we were on "island time" but we were also ready to go about the day and often had to wait long to receive our bill.

“Consistently good”

We stayed at Stonefields and ate at the Mango Tree for breakfast each day plus a couple of dinners. The food is of very high quality and really nicely prepared, service is efficient and unobtrusive and the views absolutely glorious.
