Description: Mango Tree Restaurant, like the resort itself is tropically elegant. The al fresco dining pavilion looks out over a small river stone pool and takes in the magnificent Petit Piton and views of the Caribbean Sea. Stonefield Estate Resort features 3 exciting menus, rotated each day.Our chef and his culinary team use all fresh local market ingredients to make the freshest, most delicious St Lucian flare. All herbs and vegetables grown on property are organic and the former plantation still yields the seasonal citrus, mango and breadfruit which are incorporated into the daily menus. The Mango Tree Restaurant features a special vegan menu, as well as a children’s menu. And to stir it up true Caribbean style, The Mango Tree presents a rotating dinner theme menu featuring the popular Barbecue Thursdays, a charming Creole evening with a live local shak shak band and the best baby back ribs and jerk bake on the west coast. The Saturday Market Affair serves up the best of what has been freshly procured at the nearby Soufriere market with live entertainment from local musicians. Whether you dine under a full moon with Petit Piton cast in shadow, under the starriest of nights, or witness passing ships alight, The Mango Tree Restaurants brings diners the perfect marriage of location and gourmet Creole. The Mango Tree is open for breakfast from 7.30 am until 11:00 am and is open for lunch and dinner until 10:00 pm. Plantation House, the large signature villa on property features a full kitchen and the option for an in house chef for your stay.

“Fantastic restaurant with stunning views”
Reviewed 17 March 2014

We ate here for most of our meals whilst staying at the resort. We did eat outside the resort but found ourselves comparing the quality, ambience and choice all the time, and other places did not come out as favourably. The position of the restaurant is great overlooking the bay watching boats big and small coming and going as well as some great bird life(humming birds, frigate bird and kestrels to name a few). Lunch menu has a good range and the tuna kebabs were a particular favourite with us. Dinner menu changed three times a week so there was always a good range of fish and meat. Presentation was very good as was the portion size. The Thursday BBQ was good with entertainment as well. Entertainment was limited to twice a week which suited us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend you give this a try for lunch or dinner

“Great food and Wonderful Ambience”
Reviewed 8 March 2014 via mobile

We've been staying at Stonefield and we've eaten at the Mango Tree a couple of times (outside of our included breakfast) The first was for a Thursday night barbecue and the second was for the normal dinner.

The barbecue was pretty good, but for $50 plus tax and service, it seems overpriced. I think $35/$40 would have been more fair. The entertainment was... Good. They pick on everyone to get up and participate in the fire tricks and limbo. Pretty cheesy, but fun.

Outside of the barbecue, the mango tree rotates its menu every night. We went on a Friday night and it was fantastic. Two drinks, an appetizer, two mains, and two desserts came out to about $140 after tax and service charge. Not a steal, but a pretty fair price for the quality. Service was quick and of great quality. I definitely recommend.

“Wonderful dining experience!”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

We stayed at Stonefield Resort and Spa for one week. Every morning we would enjoy the delicious complimentary breakfast and outstanding views. Then after a day of adventure and exploring we would return for a relaxing evening at the Mango Tree. The food was very good. Service was great. Special thanks to Alcii who made our dining experience a true pleasure. My wife is gluten intolerant and they went out of their way to look after her special diet. They even made some gluten free bread for her. We really enjoyed Thursday night BBQ. They brought in special entertainment and the guests really got into it! This is a very romantic atmosphere, quiet, incredible views and sounds. It’s not the sort of restaurant you would take young kids. Is a slower relaxed pace to dining. By the time you have a drink, your appetizers, entrée, and finally desert two hours can pass by. Would highly recommend the Mango Tree Restaurant.

“A superior outside dining experience”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

While staying at the Stonefield Estates, this is their on-site open air restaurant on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Caribbean. Superb service, excellent quality, locally grown food, and a knockout view over their main pool. Occasional supper entertainment, too. Suppers can be pricey, but not overly so for St. Lucia.
