We went to sugar beach for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The resort kept surprising us as we discovered more and more of it. Make sure you book a treatment/massage at the spa (men too!). It isn't just a spa but an entire experience.
My pet hate were the mosquitoes (day and night), although this is obviously not the hotel's fault and just due to the location, I thought maybe the resort could have done a little more to deter them.
The other negative are the golf carts, I realise they are necessary as there is quite a distance between the villas and beach/restaurants but the noise and smell of them, really put me off. I absolutely hate the smell of petrol and the noise they make just ruins the world heritage beauty you are in.More
