We celebrated our 35th anniversary with a trip to St Lucia in late November, early December of 2012 and were at this restaurant twice during our stay at Crystals. First trip was a mid afternoon visit for a cold drink and a snack. Had the coconut cake - It was fabulous! Place was quiet so enjoyed the time to ourselves looking out over the town of Soufriere.
Second trip was for a sunset supper - the view was awesome and our meal was great. No one else was there that night so we basically had the place to ourselves. Enjoyed visiting with the staff and took a ton of photos off the deck of the town below as the sun set over the Caribbean.
Food was great, service was quick and was very impressed by the fact they went out of their way to make sure our dishes were prepared without garlic as it causes me a lot of issues, even though I love it = :(
Highly recommend it to anyone - price was very good for what we got, the service was prompt and very friendly/helpful, and the view is beautiful

The track to Gee's is absolutely ridiculous, with numerous "it CAN'T be along here"s before you get to the steepest driveway you are likely to attempt. Once you are past the neighbours overzealous guard-dogs however you are greeted by friendly service and slightly elevated Carribean fare. The cliche ginger-coconut sauce really is worth the trip and while the decor and feel is a bit bare, the lack of a fourth wall means you have the whole of Soufriere as entertainment. If there's a football match on (or a political rally), you also get to experience the atmosphere while you eat. Sauces are thick and sumptuous and complement the simple but spot-on food, and the bakes you get with your meal are ludicrously morish. If you want authentic Carribean a step above street food or your smaller outlets in the town, with a view for when you can't talk because your tongue is coated in rich, spicy flavours, this is for you. Not cheap, but not bad for tourist prices...

The food there is excellent, true Caribbean cuisine. You must try Gee's special breadfruit pie, shrimp, curry goat, oh I can't go on as I am already getting hungry. Healthy eaten with quality service.
