Coco Pitons Villa provided a perfect sitting for a relaxing vacation. It has the most exotic views of the pitons from every part of the house. We enjoy cooking and villa provided us with all the stuff we needed to cook and eat while viewing the ptions. Loved the pool, the colorful flowers and humming birds playing around the entire day. The location of the villa is perfect close to all the tourist attractions like Sulphur Springs park, Diamond Waterfall, Jalousie Beach( Sugar Beach), Fond Doux Estate, Tet Paul Nature Trail(Must see), Pitons Waterfall etc and many more.. Villa is on mountain top above the hotel chocolat/Ladera resort getting you more into the wild and for enjoying a secluded private stay. Jalousie/Sugar beach is very near. It's a beautiful beach , clear water , white sand and perfect for bathing. We had drinks and bites at the beach bar of Sugar Beach resort. The proximity allowed us to visit the beach multiple times.
We came to the villa by taxi as the roads in St Lucia don't have signs and signals. But we got a drivematic jeep rental dropped to our villa the next day which gave us time to get comfortable with the location by driving around.
When we reached the villa, Sylvia gave us a warm welcome and a guided tour of the villa.Sylvia and Mary Jane were both helpful and they made sure our vacation was truly enjoyable. We plan to visit again with our family in future!!!

Went down to the island for my son's wedding which was held at Union Vale Coco Plantation. I booked the Coco Piton villa (Locally known as Hermitage villa) so that the rest of the immediate family could stay, eat and relax together. We were met by a beautiful sunset behind the Petit Piton. Myrna from Oasis Marigot customer service greeted us, showed us around and gave us important information about the workings of the villa. I had the villa stocked with food for the stay. A service they provide in advance. You pay for the food and a service charge. The housekeeper, Mary Jane, arrived the next morning with a smile and a happy good morning. She did a great job of keeping the place in order and also prepared a great meal for our evening arrival (which I had ordered ahead of time at an extra charge). First time our family had been all together in 17 years. It was a great time in a great setting.
We used taxi/vans to get around as left side of the road driving on narrow roads was not something I wanted to navigate for a short stay.
The people of the area are very friendly. We didn't have lot of free time with the wedding commitments so we did not see a lot of the island attractions.
Before we arrived we were concerned about insect issues but we had no issues our entire stay. A couple of small birds flew in and out of the villa looking for food so it had to be kept covered.
It is an older quaint villa so bathrooms are a bit dated but clean. Very cozy environment with plenty of room to spread out.
Wonderful breezes some stronger winds to listen to at night. Sun brief passing showers then sun again as is the case on most islands. Sunsets and stars and a glass of wine...Nice!

We just got home from staying at Coco Pitons (aka, Hermitage Villa) and all I can say is "wow"! The view was absolutely spectacular and I can't imagine a better view of Petit Piton anywhere else on the island. The location of this house was ideal. 90% of what we wanted to do was within a 5 mile radius. Things such as, zip lining (Morne Coubaril), waterfalls & mineral baths (Diamond Falls, Piton waterfalls/baths & Jerusalem baths), hiking (Tet Paul trail) gardens (Fond Deux & Diamond botanical gardens) and beaches (Jalouise & Anse Chastenet). The town of Soufriere was very unique and definitely something worth checking out. Everyone that we encountered was friendly and helpful. The few folks that followed us around kindly went away after a few "no thank you's".
The housekeepers were friendly and extremely helpful. They did cook for us when we asked them too, but try to have some ideas of what you want before asking them to cook for you. The house had everything that we could possibly need. The pool was perfect after a long day of touring around. We did get bit by a few mosquitoes, but overall, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. One recommendation would be to make sure each room had a fan of some kind. The breezes were cool, but a little extra breeze from a fan would be have been even better.
Make sure you do not rent a normal sedan - make sure you either rent an all wheel drive vehicle or an SUV w/4wd because if you do any exploring it will definitely help. We rented a Honda CRV and it served us well even on a few off road trips. It took us awhile to get used to the steep drop offs on the sides of the road so you always have to be paying close attention.
Overall, this was probably one of the best vacation homes that we've ever rented.
