My husband and I were delighted to find this little gem tucked away in Philipsburg. We happened upon it as we strolled down Old Street. The menu on the sidewalk looked appealing and we decided to stop for a refreshing drink. We saw some nice meals being served to other patrons so we thought that going back for a late lunch would be worth considering. We continued our stroll through town and eventually ended up back at Saveurs de France and were so glad that we did. We tried the French tasting platter. It is a large plate of salad topped with French goodies like foie gras and served with French bread and wine. We were going to have dessert but, alas, the chocolate eclair we had been drooling over had been snatched up by another patron before we could order it. We felt like we were in a little café in a corner of France, especially with the soccer match playing on the TV inside. We received very friendly and helpful service. If I was spending any amount of time in Philipsburg I would be a regular visitor to this place. We were on a cruise ship and in port just one day.
