Behind GEBE, close to UTS.
The Colombian dishes in this place are quite nice and tasty. Or more accurately: the Colombian dish. We sat down with three persons and everyone ordered something different, but we received the exact same thing. Apparently, "french fries" sounds to much like "rice". Don't expect being served simultaneously. It is more likely that one of you will already be finished when the others receive their plates.
Let the waitress repeat your order and check if the amount of meals that she wrote down matches the amount of guests. I am not kidding.
Pointing to the English language menu is futile as the waitress doesn't read English either. When she says 'sweet chicken', she means 'stewed chicken'. The stewed chicken is terrible BTW, more bone than meat.
Yesterday, my coffee was served cold. After a complaint, I saw the waitress heat up my cup in a microwave.
The main problems with this place are that the personnel (1) doesn't speak English (especially not when there is a complaint), and (2) obviously had no proper training in hospitality, cooking or anything food related whatsoever. I imagine that these are just some women with large families who are used to cooking a lot and ended up in this shack trying to make a few extra bucks.
Take it out, or better, have someone that speaks Spanish order ahead by phone.
Meals are $8 - $10. Given the location, atmosphere and service, this is too expensive.
