“A day in heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2009

Our little group of 3 took an all-day Friday (8-5:30) sail on the Celine to Tintamarre & snorkeling, it was so wonderful! Besides the crew there were only 4 other customers, such a small intimate group which made for great conversation. It was so peaceful. Captain Neil got us started talking in the morning - he is so lively, energetic and full of stories.

Lena is a wonderful gourmet cook - the ribs were the tenderest I've ever had and the mahi was delicious along with an array of sides & salads for lunch. Food & drinks all day, we were never hungry. I'm so grateful to have this opportunity for a day I will never forgot my whole life.

“Absolutely the best day of our vacation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2009

We took a private half-day sail with Captain Neil on the Celine. It felt more like a whole day, because it started with a scrumptious breakfast on the boat, lingered through stops at gorgeous beaches for swim and snorkel, an absolutely gourmet lunch with grilled mahi-mahi, pasta, and all kinds of goodies, and a sail back through the bridge into Simpson Bay. Drinks of all kinds were available without stinginess. The boat itself is beautiful and very comfortable, with shaded seating in the back, an inside dining room area, as well as the freedom to ride up front, into the wind.
Not only were the Captain and First Mate attentive to all our needs, they were quite interesting people to talk to, and made our sail extremely pleasant. They had some great sailing stories to tell, both about St. Maarten and other places. We felt we got more than our money's worth- it was the highlight of our vacation.

“Celine Pub Crawl is a MUST if you are visiting St. Maarten”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2009

What an AWESOME trip and sooooo worth the money. The Pub Crawl starts at "Skip Jacks" rest. on the water....everyone geta to wear a pirate hat (optional) and are served beverages right from the start. Starting with a delicious appetizer of Mahi/Mahi kebobs and spring rolls (lots of food), My daughter is a vegetarian and when we requested a different menu for her, every rest. we stopped at went above and beyond our expectations with her meals as well. You get to sail on Captain Neil's boat inbetween the food stops, appetizer, dinner and dessert, and see St. Maarten from the beautiful turquiose water. What a wonderful time and what a great host. Please don't miss at on this great and fun opportunity while visitng the island.

“The Celine Pub Crawl”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2009

We did the Celine Pub Crawl this time with Captain Neil on his catamaran, the Celine. What a blast. You do the pub crawl by boat going to different restaurants around the Simpson Lagoon. It's an open bar. Rum punch is made, but they have a lot of choices on the boat to order. I had scotch & water. Lots of drinks !! Lena kept the drinks coming. Each restaurant has special food that is prepared for the group. We started at Skip Jacks. We had fish kebobs & spring rolls with some great sauces. Then to Uncle Harrys where we had filet mignon kebobs, baked potato & a small salad. We finished up at the Blue Martini with hot apple pie & ice cream. You get a drink of choice at each restaurant, but it's an open bar on the boat. We cruised a while in between restaurants. Everyone had so much fun. This is one of those trips you should do if you go to St. Maarten. The cost was $75.00 per person. It was worth every penny. It's a must do. There is also a sunset cruise, day trips, etc.

“The Celine best charter in St. Maartin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2009

While vacationing in St. Maarten I had the opportunity to go on the charter The Celine with Captain Neil Roebert and his charming first mate Lena.

This beautiful boat is a 40 foot catamaran and Captain Neil does all day charters, Sunset Cruises and the best Pub Crawl that you have ever been on. On the pub Crawl at each bar/restaurant there is a small meal waiting for you. First stop appetizer, second stop main meal fillet Mignon, third stop dessert.

On the all day cruises he is also the Chef along with Lena and I am telling you it was like eating in a five star restaurant. He starts with a beautiful breakfast that includes fresh pastry , fruits, cereal, yogurt and much much more. For lunch which is being prepared for you while your at the beach snorkeling ( all gear is provided for) and getting mud baths at Tintamarre, he served barbecue ribs, salad, pasta salad, the best potatoe salad, garlic bread, mahi mahi, tabbouleh and his specialty Paella. There were other surprises as well but I wouldn't want to give it all away. The pride that he takes in making the meal and making sure that all his passengers needs are taken care of is not typical of one day charters. This is your chance to be one of the rich and famous for a day.
All cruises include open bar by the way.

If not for The Celine and Captain Neil I would not have had a chance to see the sheer beauty of the island and get one of the famous mud baths, great scenery, phenomenal food, great catamaran and what really sailing in the Caribbean's turquoise waters was all about. Amazing, breathtaking and FUN!.

I am sorry I can't give you the email address on this but please just look up The Celine in St Maarten and you will find it. Don't hesitate to email me if you have any questions.

By the way if you are an experienced sailor he will let you take the wheel and you can see what that is like. How many charters will let you do that?

As far as accommodations we stayed at the Oyster Bay Condo/timeshares which has the loveliest infinity pool I have seen.
All the restaurants we went to no matter where were great and one exceptional one was the Stone. Don't miss it!

As an ex travel agent I am very realistic about my trip but this one goes into 5 star vacation.
