Food was delicious although portions were kind of small. The Veggie plate was very tasty and the fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The couple next to us with whom we had a very pleasant conversation had the drunken ribs and he said they were very good. The couple was from England and we had a great time talking to them. We saw them again at Versna Traverna a few days later (really nice people). The service and friendlyness of the owner and waitress was excellent. The Plams is a winner and would certainly eat there again..

We knew it was going to be a great night when the owner of the restaurant (Greg) found us a parking spot right up close (behind his car). We have been to St Maarten many times but had never eaten here. From now on this will be a regular dining spot. Our waitress/hostess (Jo) was very friendly and helpful discussing the menu. Our friends had the Mahi-Mahi and Curried Vegetables which they said was delicious. My wife and I had the Drunken Ribs Special. The ribs were fantastic. Moist and meaty and the crust was crispy like bacon. The order was a full slab so we had to take some home for lunch the next day. I do not usually comment about side dishes but I must say that the French Fries were the best I have ever had in a restaurant. Think of the original McDonalds fries but better.
All in all it was a very pleasant dining experience and we would highly recommend giving it a try.
