We were going to eat in a different restaurant every meal but had to go back for their delicious coconut shrimp. Also, it is fun to watch the boats come through the drawbridge while eating.

This is one of the places we look forward to coming to while in St.Maarten. Love their breakfast and have always had a good experience , up until this past visit on Valentine's Day. We arrived around 9am and it was already very crowded. Upon being seated, we asked the waitress if it would be a problem for the 3 couples to get separate checks. None of us had cash to pay the other, if it was all put on one bill. After giving us an eye roll and mumbling something, she assured us she could do it. Things started getting really busy and to her defense, they were very understaffed for the crowd, but that is not the customers fault. She became overwhelmed very quickly, never got our coffee refilled. All of our breakfast was cold, due to the fact that it sat in the back for awhile , because the waitress was busy with other customers. My husband ordered eggs over easy and he didn't get toast to dip them. She said he didn't order it. By the time the toast came , the eggs were not very edible. She never came back to check on anything and finally had to track her down for our bills because we had flights to catch. She said she would be right out with them. Had to ask 3 more times until she came out ,very upset with us and told us "she was very busy and couldn't give us separate checks. " We told her , "we specifically ask you if you could do this before we ordered and you told us yes. " She then said "it's really not that difficult, I don't see what your problem is that you can't figure it out, can't you see I'm very busy and don't have time for this." She continued to argue with us a few more seconds.Nothing about it was difficult, we didn't have cash to pay one another and would not be seeing each other again this trip. Which is normally a pleasant time with friendly staff and good food , turned out to be very disappointing with the help of a very rude waitress. Despite all her rudeness , we still gave her a tip, which after some thought, shouldn't have for how we were treated.

You get to mingle with wharf rats and high end yacht owners all while watching the boating world go by.

After a day at the beach we frequently go to the Yacht Club for a drink a a great thrill watching megayachts squeeze thru the bridge. Check the bridge schedule online to time your visit. Snack menu is great and is inexpensive.
