We had a fabulous dinner at Butter Fish in the Simpson Bay Market last night. My brother-in-law and I had fresh snapper (he had fried and I had boiled), my sister had ribs, and my nephew had chicken. The owner makes her own fantastic hot sauce, and they source their seafood from the Simpson Bay fish market next door. There are only a couple of tables, so making a reservation is recommended.

I can't say enough about this little kiosk style restaurant. We made reservations for 6 persons for dinner. They are only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday but open during the day. You order from a menu board which has a variety but not to limited.

Dwyane the owner who is also the chef made us personal appetizers ahead of time as a surprise which were truly amazing, which were the best Jonny Cakes I have ever had and beef croquettes which you dipped both in a sauce that is heaven. I could of just had them.

3 of us had the Mahi Mahi in a crab sauce with a choice of 2 sides in which we all had different ones all being excellent. 2 persons had the striploin steak with crayfish and mushroom sauce again excellent and 1 order of chicken pasta in a cream sauce with mushrooms. The last dish was for someone who has not liked anything on the island yet and loved it so that says something.

We are going back again on Saturday it's that good. As I said this is more a kiosk with limited seating for dinner so reserve or go for lunch. The veiw is wonderful of the inner harbour.

Great food, great value nice to see.
