This was our first stay in St Martin and we chose Grand Case because we wanted to be in a small beach town with great restaurants. After driving around the island when we rented a car one day, we still thought Grand Case was the best choice. The beach is quiet, never a crowd and has beautiful turquoise water. The studio is located within walking distance of all the great restaurants and the few bars, but far enough not to hear the music when live music is playing at night. The studio itself is in a small complex called Pavillon Beach, which used to be a hotel. The rooms have been transformed into studios and one bedroom apartments and have been sold off to individuals, mostly French from what we saw. Nicole and Daniel, the owners of our studio, were very welcoming and also live in the building part of the year. The studio is right on the beach with a beautiful view of the sea and Anguilla. It was very clean. There were a few ants in the kitchen, but not a major problem. There is no balcony, but the sliding doors facing the beach open up and there is a little sitting area to enjoy the breeze and the sound of the waves. We used the kitchen quite a bit and found everything we needed. You do need to buy your own oil and vinegar, etc. The internet worked well, the tv sometimes turned off on its own. If you stay in Grand Case, walk to the neighbouring beach Happy Bay--- our favourite beach on the island. We would definitely recommend studio Ti Case to our friends and family.
