Grand Case Beach Club

Positives:
- Nice location on the beach
- 2 bedrooms available for families
- On-site restaurant
Negatives:
- Staff at the reception is rude
- Rooms are dirty
- Lingering sewer smell
- Too many fees: fee for using the gym, fee for using the internet, fee for using the laundry...
- Too many rules: you have to sign everyday to get fresh towels, sign to use the gym, sign to use the computer, rules for where you can park, sign multiple forms to get keycards and lock for the safe... Is this vacation or a boarding school?
Suggestion for improvement: the current manager is a nice guy but he needs to retire and bring in someone new with a fresh vision and how to get things done.

So sorry that you were less than satified with your stay. I too, am disappointed, and wish that you would have brought your issues up to us while you were here, I am sure that we could have had a positive effect on your overall impression!
As to your suggestion that I retire, it seems that I may have a great deal still to do before I can afford myself that luxury!
Being professionals, we will take to heart your observations and comments...well, most of them, at least! Next time, introduce yourself to me, you might be pleasantly surprised what a nice guy can do.

We just came back and we loved it!
The only problem we had initially was the room: split one bedroom apartment. I don't know how many times I did up and down, night and day, to check on the kids!
We asked to change room, they were a bit rude at the biginning but after we explained the situation they tried to accommodate us for the best.
The rooms are very large with kitchen facilities, the place is very clean, quiet, secure, free parking, walking distance to town and restaurants, and with a BEAUTIFUL beach. It is not too large but perfect for small children.
The Sanset Cafe' has an amazing view and good food. We would like to thank Lolo and Sabrina, very special people.
What else can I say?
We loved it and can't wait to go back next year!!!

We stayed here for two seperate short stays. Online reservations very efficient and reservations were in place on both arrivals. The front desk staff excellent, welcoming and helpful during our stay. Accommodations are very nice and I would highly recommend the one or two bedroom units oceanfront. All rooms seem to have good security precautions...ie poles in door etc. The units are well furnished and comfortable. It is a nice quiet beach area with lots of chairs and privacy. The pool area is not nice.not well maintained and you are much better off at the beach...so if pool is important GCBC might not be your first choice. Sunset cafe nice little place with million dollar view..adequate continental breakfast or just stop by and take a box to your room...again very comfortable and homelike...not big resort style. Short walk to restaurants in Grand Case. Did not like walk to town at night...sort of dark road and vehicles passing...did it but did not like it. GCBC has just changed the locks to the rooms into the keyed entry and does have a good security presence. Hopefully some of the issues of things being taken from rooms will be resolved.. All in all this hotel is a good choice for Grand Case and especially for families some really good value accommodations with nice service. You will need a car to see the island..taxis expensive but available too.

This is a very pleasant place to stay. The kitchen facility is great and a bottle of wine awaits you, with fresh flowers in the room. Beaches are perfect for families. However, it is quite a walk to the restaurants, dodging traffic all the way. We found Lolos's a reasonable place to eat. You have to rent a car to get around the island, and we enjoyed Marigot, with its colorful markets. 'Car rental is very reasonable, and Ruby, who handles this, was most helpful. Contintental breakfast is included, overlooking the ocean.

I did extensive research before picking this hotel for our honeymoon and was not disappointed, the rooms were large with a full kitchen and eating table. The beach was nice and the ScoobyToo is not to be missed as you sail over to St. Barts and get all the free Rum along the way! This far end of Grand Case is perfect as you can be away from the crowds but are a short walk up the street to the restaurants. Dont forget to take the boat ride over to Anguilla while you are here. The beaches there are AMAZING. We stayed at the Ku Hotel over there and it was pleasant- clean and not highly expensive and on the most beautiful beach my eyes have ever set on. I cannot wait to go back to Grand Case Beach Club.

I went down with family for the second time in three years - its still the same. Great condos, the beach is so peaceful, the town hasn't changed at all. I would say stay in Grand Case, the rest of the island is very commercial and there is ALWAYS a traffic jam somewhere else!

Grand CaseBeach Club is a lovely hotel. My family and I spent a week there and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is charming and quiet, plus with two private beaches there's lots of room. We used the kitchen daily (food can be expensive) and walked to town for lunch and dinner. The town of Grand Case is close and has amazing food. I recommend trying the Lolo's ( local restaraunts) for really good food at a good price. We enjoyed a relaxing, laid- back trip. Hopefully we'll return same time next year
