We started with a chilled cucumber soup. My son had the duck, husband had the Fish special; my tar tar was outstanding! The food, view and ambience was all incredible. I highly recommend it for a special evening out in St. Martin!

We love this restaurant because it is situated overlooking the lovely Caribbean. The staff is especially friendly. This is the oldest restaurant in Grand Case…it has a neat history. If you visit, ask the owner about it! The food is always a wonderful French experience. I would suggest you skip the mixed green salad and enjoy the Caesar instead.

Appetizer was surprisingly delicious. Waiter was great. And what a lobster! They get you in the hotel and you just have to worry about having a good time.

Le Tastevin is an exceptional French restaurant in the Grand Case area of St. Martin, in one of the oldest houses in the area. This is one of those "must go" places each time we visit the island, which is frequently. In addition to the printed menu, there are usually several additional specials, making your final choice that much more difficult! Seafood if it is exceptional here, but there is nothing on the menu that isn't superb! Pork tenderloin is outstanding, as is the filet. Service is polite and attentive, and the view overlooking the water is absolutely delightful. This has been a staple of the Grand Case restaurant scene for many years… And it never fails to please. Though I am not a dessert person, we always enjoy sharing the profiteroles, which seldom seem to be found in American restaurants. The crème brûlée is also outstanding! The wine list is extensive and relatively moderately priced.

We dined at Le Tastevin in Grand Case for our last meal in St Martin and we were not disappointed! Le Tastevin is a romantic French restaurant that embodies the essence of the gastronomic capital of the Caribbean. The restaurant is in a creole style house overlooking the water and the evening that we went, we were able to reserve one of the window tables and watch the sun set on the water as we dined on our meal.
The service was second to none offered by an attentive and charming server that made us feel most welcomed.
The food was fabulous and well presented. The 6 of us had a variety of dishes including some shared desserts. Everyone was happy with their meal.
