This place is, in short, fantastic. We had seen it as a gelato shop and creperie before, but until we went inside and sat down for a real meal we realized we had been missing out. On a street full of overpriced presumptuous food, this place is down to earth, relaxed, and fun. Sure you can get your great crepe or gelato here, but we had more! We sent the children ahead to order lunch for us and they ordered from the "specials" board out front, what they thought were gourmet crepes (fish with special sauces, original gourmet dishes) were not crepes but high-end cuisine! Prices are better than elsewhere, and atmosphere more relaxed. We were in a rush so they saved our leftovers in the fridge while we went diving, and we retrieved them that evening. Excellent! We went back twice more, they were so great to us.

Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, delicious food. There were obviously several regular customers who were very familiar with the menu. One couple helped us with the specials menu. We especially enjoyed the Creole sausage. And the homemade ice cream!

Sadly, I didn't get a chance to sample the crepes. Maybe next time.

Great for casual dining and one of the more affordable places to eat in Grand Case. The crepes are delicious…try the one filled with shrimp, scallops, leeks and cream. The atmosphere is lively and the service was very good. And we loved the banana vanilla rum shots that came with our bill.

My wife and I tried the Brasserie Des Iles for the 1st time this year. It will be our 1st and only time as it was by far the most disappointing meal we've had in 3 years in Grand Case. Once we got the server's attention, she took our order and brought our food, such as it was. Not a memorable meal in the least; akin to what you might get at a service center on a major highway. What made it worse, was that the server did not return once during the meal, and we had to work pretty hard to get the check so we could leave.

We didn't eat a full meal here, but stopped in later in the evening for the crepes. GREAT apple crepe at reasonable prices (filled with apple preserves and pieces of apple and a liquor. There is also a window onto the street which has gelato and sorbet. They have lavender and also rose flavored gelato = great!
