While visiting Tortola for the first time, I had breakfast and lunch at Village Cay a few times. Both were very good and the servers were polite. Breakfast sandwich is good, burger is great and chicken/veg quesadilla is pretty decent. Happy hour is super fun & the bartenders, Dwight & Kid are awesome. Friday happy hours seem to be the place to be with a bar setup next to the pool and a DJ. Bonus: James, the marina manager is quite welcoming and always has a smile on his face.

Found the staff were rude and stand-offish. We simply ordered a coffee which was clearly a great nuisance to them as it involved a little more than taking the lid off a bottle, eventually it arrived after ten minutes to arrive and was cold! I'll say no more!

If you are in port for the day or even staying on Tortola this place is worth a stop. Food is made fresh at the open kitchen, and the bar is great in providing ice cold beers and other island drinks. The restaurant faces the marina so provides a beautiful view when dining and they also have a small fresh water pool off the bar area where you can take a dip to cool off. Also there is free Wifi for patrons so a great place to catch up on e-mails while having a drink or good meal. It's also a fun place to meet people from all over as the patrons are not only local residents but guests at the marina hotel and sailors staying or stopping off at the marina. Great, big overstuffed sandwiches just as we like them. Very large choice of fillings and also salads. This is the deli and its excellent. However, the restaurant is anything but.
