“A sunset must”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

This is the right place to stop after an afternoon of bar hopping and checking out the views on the island. The sunset plays out for you in great fashion and their drink menu, though not extensive or wildly creative, has enough to keep you interested. The food is pretty good but not the reason to go there.

“Excellent food, excellent wine”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

In addition to an awesome sunset view, BananaKeet offers excellent food and wine selections. We split a great bottle of rose (very reasonably priced) and I had an excellent painkiller as well. The food was great, especially the soup of the day. I will return on my next visit.

“Best Sunset on the Island”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

Have been to BananaKeet many times and it's one of our must-see stops when visiting Tortola. The drive up the hills to get there can be a bit tough to navigate if you don't have four wheel drive. Once there, you'll have great ambiance, great food, great drinks and the best sunset view on the island. Very romantic (but have also been there with the kids as well). Located way up on the side of the mountain, the views won't disappoint. Make a rez - walk in's tough even off-season. Get there a half hour before sunset so you can enjoy drinks as the sun sinks over the outer smaller islands. Bring your camera (although my iPhone pics were better than camera b/c of the filters). No table has a bad view, but if you want the best view, ask for a table near the rear corner or the edge (just be prepared to have other guests pose nearby you and take pics of them and the sunset - pretty friendly atmosphere). The view and the food will not disappoint!
