Not sure where to begin. Checked in and paid for a King room, got a Twin room, first problem. The hotel moved me after much ado about a room I confirmed. Then I went to place my jewelry in the safe, and there was no lock on the safe. Called down to reception and they said it was $15 USD for a lock for the safe? WTH?? No, I don't want to pay for something that is supposed to be provided. That was my downfall. When I checked out and got home, I found that I was missing a gold necklace. I called and of course they didn't find it! It was there and now it's gone!
Secondly, the restaurant closed the Tuesday following Memorial Day, so there is only one restaurant in a dark, dank corner of the hotel. SInce the restaurant facing is closed, there is no beach service. Who wants to stay in a beachfront hotel with no beach service?
The positives, is the front desk people were nice enough, and the rooms are sufficient, but if you go, keep your valuables locked in your suitcase.More
