Loved this beach. We went to the little bar and cafe just as you walk in on the left. The lady there prepared Roti's forus which were fantastic and a good value. Please don't complain about the time it takes to get food or drinks on the island. I was on holidays with another couple and we always say just relax and get out of the City/ Big Country mode and enjoy life on the island!

My partner and I visited Josiah's bay, and it was completely deserted. There was a straggly volleyball net and a restaurant that was empty as well. Not a good vibe. I'm sure it will be different in high season around Christmas time when the island has many more visitors and cruise ships coming.

We stumbled across Josiah's Bay while out driving the island - drawn from the incredible view from above on a day with pretty heavy waves. A wonderfully relaxing stretch of sand to spend a couple of hours. Naomi's Li'l Secret, the bar/restaurant as you enter the beach, took care of us while we were there. We enjoyed some refreshingly light-battered conch fritters and the roti is among the best that I've ever had. (As signs at the beach will also caution you, there can be a pretty rough surf here. Use extra caution with children and those who aren't strong swimmers.)

My favorite beach in the BVI's. Just relax and enjoy. If you like surfing this is a good spot to do so. No cruise ships here!
