This little nook was perfect for enjoying a drink and a quick bite while deciding on your next move, the quintessential Caribbean restaurant. The staff was super friendly and the food is totally tasty. Can't wait to get back!

“Curry lobster, 2 nights in a row!”
Reviewed 10 July 2013

Great little find right on Cane Garden Bay near the dingy dock. Fills up fast so make reservations and sit down and enjoy the leisurely service and amazing food! We loved this place so much we went twice and both times had the curry lobster that seriously was the best ever. Love this place!

“Beautiful View + Best Painkiller on Tortola”
Reviewed 6 May 2013

During our honeymoon on Tortola, my husband and I had a daily routine that went something like this:

-Wake up (whenever)
-Get coffee down at the Soper's Hole Marina (D'Best Coffee)
-Stop by Sailor's Rest for our morning cocktail (that's allowed on your honeymoon, by the way)

This little waterfront beach bar is not to be missed! They play reggae gospel (oddly enjoyable) and are mixing up the best painkillers on Tortola! It's a great place to watch the sailboats come in and out of busy Cane Garden Bay, and you feel like you are tucked away on a private deck - away from all of the tourists on the beach. Sailor's Rest is a little piece of heaven.

P.S. They also make the best biscuits on earth. Seriously. We're from Virginia (where people don't mess around with biscuits), and I wish I could make a biscuit this good.

“Great little spot”
Reviewed 6 May 2013

This cozy spot towards the end of the beach was a favorite place for breakfast or a quick drink. The view is priceless and we found it completely charming. Fun people watching with the sailors getting on and off their boats to pick up ice and supplies.
