“Excellent Dinner + Beautiful Setting”
Reviewed 30 March 2013

Service was very welcoming and friendly. We were seated on the balcony overlooking the water at night with romantic candlelight. The menu was HUGE with lots of fresh fish. We ordered the Surf & Turf. The lobster was very fresh & amazing!! The steak was absolutely tender and delicious. The cocktails were good. It would be an easy restaurant to go back to for sure. It's open for dinner only. Highly recommend it.

“The most under-rated restaurant on the island!”
Reviewed 23 March 2013 via mobile

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. Especially convenient location for the East End. They take visa. On the water. Very accommodating. Above average menu for the area. Plenty of parking. Great service. The food was delicious! Great restaurant. Highly recommend.

“Not great”
Reviewed 23 February 2013

When we told our concierge at Frenchmans that we were going to try Charlie T's the response was 'ohhhhh. Let me know how that is'. We should have known :) My husband and I drove from the West End all the way out here-it was at least a 45 minute drive each way. When we arrived the restaurant was empty and the wait staff were arguing about who was going to have to serve us. After waiting for about 20 minutes one of the waitresses showed up to take our drink order. She was pleasant enough and the view was pretty great right on the water. The problem with Charlie T's is that it just isn't that great. We asked if we could get a soda in a can and the waitress explained that they use 12 liter bottles to fill a glass (!). Nix that. I ordered the lobster which ended up being two pounds-$48!-it wasn't great. It was big, but overcooked. Even the butter tasted odd, I think they might have just put some canola oil in a cup and called it butter. This is not the place to go for a great meal and you can't even get out of there for a decent price. All in all it's just not that great. The view is nice however on the water near a marsh with views of egrets and herons. Other than that, there isn't much else to like.

“Highly recommend you try Charlie T's”
Reviewed 16 January 2013

Six of us had dinner here our last night of vacation, 12/28/2012. The restaurant is about a 5 minute walk from Hodges Creek Marina where Festiva Sailing docks their catamarans. They have a decent wine list both by the bottle and glass and a great menu. There are choices of seafood, pasta, different meat dishes like jerk chicken or pork and even veal chops. Three of us opted for the lobster which was fantastic, but could not finish all of it. Our table mates took care of it real quick! Others in our group had the jerk pork, Atlantic cod and pasta. We had 2 bottles Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio which was really good and at a fair price. A great part of the evening, besides the lobster, was our server, Pat. She was very attentive and always smiling and had a really good sense of humor, which with our group is very important! Lots of really interesting photos hang on the walls inside the restaurant/bar. The owner is a fun guy, loves to talk sailing and boats. Try the pecan pie for dessert, large enough to share, but after the first taste you may not want to.
