A simple hotel, in Road town and very close to the main Ferry Station. Nice spacious room, very clean. Its a good budget option in Road town. Although the name, dont really have a Sea View. It was unlocked in the nigth, but wee didnt[e felt unsafe. There ir a parking for 3 cars only and the entrance need some imporvement.

This is the closest we could find to a budget hotel in Road town. We stayed for three nights while provisioning for a bareboat charter and visiting the island. Rooms are very clean if spartan. They had a refrigerator and coffee maker in our room but we had to ask for the coffee pack. The TV worked.
Others have written about the proximity to the road. True but as we are early risers we didn't find the noise a problem. Sunday morning in Road Town no one is up early so no noise.

Returning after our week's sailing we found that wifi was now available in the room as well as the reception area.

The swimming pool is immaculate but very small.

The parking space is limited and VERY steep. However, we parked on the street with no problems. The hotel is within 15 minutes walking of the ferry dock but a cab is needed to get to Moorings/Sunsail base. There is a restaurant in easy walking distance.

The young woman at reception could not have been more friendly.

We are just about to finish our stay at the Sea View Hotel after two weeks in Road Town, Tortola. The hotel is a just 10 minute walk from the Ferry Terminal and handy for Village Cay Marina where we did some great day sailing trips from, and to the Conch Charter pontoons and the Pub Restaurant. The room is clean with a quiet AC plus a ceiling fan. Although quite near to the road between Road Town and West End, the traffic noise was minimal. We experienced a cool breeze every night through the mosquito nets on the windows. The swimming pool, although not large is maintained in a PRISTINE condition. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those that want a decent place to stay at a fraction of the 'rip-off' prices that other hotels are charging.

Made reservation inJune and reconfirm in July. Reserved a suite with kitchenette. Upon arrival I discovered that the stove was not turned, there were no pots or pans, kitcken knives, spoons or forks. The floor was wet from condensation, no toilet paper or soap in the bathroom. Turned the fan on and the noise was unbearable. Ants and mosquitoes were frequent companions. The coffee mate was soo old it looks and felt like chewing gum. I left it in water for 2 days and it never dissolved. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

For a brief stay, just needing a place to rest your head, you can't beat the price. $81 for 2 people, per night. One of the couples referred to it as "the monk's quarters" as it was a little sparse, and it was rather noisy with traffic zooming by all night, but for the most part - worth what we paid. Friends stayed down the way at Maria's for more than twice the $ and they didn't even have A/C. Mattress, bedding, overall cleanliness, coffee pot - all acceptable.
