Owner description: Park that encompasses the wreck of the HMS Rhone, a mail ship that sunk during a hurricane in 1867, and Dead Chest Island, both great dive sites.

Fantastic dive spot. Saw just about every kind of undersea critter that day including turtles and a massive ray

Clear vis, no current, swim throughs, Turtles, Rays, Lobsters, giant spider crabs, lots of reef fish. Best wreck in the Caribbean.

The Wreck of the Rhone is a mid 1800's ship that wrecked trying to outrun a hurricane. It's a popular and beautiful dive site with a lot of marine life

I've been spoiled diving wrecks all over the world, so didn't expect much from a wreck in some clear-water resort location.

Boy, was I surprised. Even after 150 years, there's plenty to see! We dove with Sail Caribbean Divers, out of Hodges Creek on Tortola. (They will happily pick you up on Cooper Island or rendezvous with your boat near the dive site itself.) Highly recommended operation. Well-run, clean, orderly boat. Was happy that they let me do my own thing, as none of the other passengers were qualified for the penetration/exploration I was hoping to do.

You can also snorkel to see the top part of the wreck. The ship is nw of the big yellow bouey. You need to get there early to get one of the moorings.
