We could not more highly recommend Frenchmans. We had an amazing, relaxing, and delightful time in the beautiful spot. The beach is lovely and private, food is excellent, and the view is unparalleled. We look forward to returning!

Room Tip: We loved the sunrise view from Mango.

My wife and I stayed at Frenchman's for a week in January with my mother and our 4 year old daughter and had a great stay. Everyone was super pleasant and very helpful, I still can't get over the fact that everyone sings on the island (oh to be that happy). The villa was spacious, comfortable and had beautiful views. A short walk to Soper's made it easy for us to go for a day sail, which was the highlight of our trip. We can't wait to return (especially to eat at the Dove Restaurant)! Who doesn't like happy people, beautiful scenery and warm sunny days?

The people make the stay. Everyone at Frenchman's made our stay special. Our villa was spacious and comfortable for 2 couples. The grounds are well tended and the setting is beautiful. Being on walking distance to Sopers is great.
The only negatives would be that the beach is pretty to look at but that's about it. Also being on the windward side it's not swim able for the most part. You can readily drive to beautiful , swim able beaches, but not on property. However the central West end location is excellent.

We were recently at Frenchman's for a week, and absolutely LOVED it! Wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in the 1 bedroom Starfruit villa, and it was perfect for two people. Great kitchen, has everything you need. We asked the staff to provision our room with a few things so that we can have snacks/drinks when we got there, and everything was taken care of for us.

The staff was fantastic, very helpful, and handled any reservations we needed.

The beach is small, but there was the most fantastic snorkeling just around the left side of the beach. Gorgeous coral reefs, fish, etc. It was so private, we sometimes felt like we were the only people there. If you are looking for action and a younger crowd, this is not the place for you. This is simply a low-key private beach getaway. For larger beaches (try Smuggler's Cove), you will have to rent a car and drive. But given a round trip cab ride to a local restaurant cost us 40 dollars, it is well worth renting a car.

The food at the restaurant was fantastic. I didn't mind the limited breakfast menu, because regardless of what they had (it was different every day), it was great. The coffee was AMAZING. Food on the island is typically very expensive, and we ate out at a few other places during the week. But we found the quality of food at the Frenchman's restaurant to be the best. PLEASE try the tacos from Tuesday to Saturday around 4-5pm. SO GOOOOOOOOD.

Soper's Hole marina was within walking distance, and was cute and charming. Food there was meh... but it is a good spot for a cocktail. We took a day-sail out from there to the Norman Islands, and it was a perfect day.

We would absolutely come back to Frenchman's!

Frenchmans must rank as one of the best places I have ever stayed. Four of us stayed in a two-bed cottage which was just fantastic. Very classy, fully equipped, and with a great view of the bay. The place is very quiet and laid-back, but with real charm and sophistication. It has been designed and put together to a very high standard.
The staff were excellent but the only slight downside is the separately run restaurant. The food was of very good quality and nicely presented - however the choice is rather limited (especially for breakfast) and some of the combinations of ingredients made you wonder what the chef was smoking. That said, we enjoyed it immensely and would thoroughly recommend a stay at Frenchmans.

Room Tip: I think that all the rooms would be great - they are all quiet and face the sea.
