Probably the most beautiful, romantic setting for a restaurant anywhere! In the stone and timber-beamed structure with candlelight and balmy breezes stirring the curtains, the frogs chirping and the smell of the blooming trees, we had an incredible meal. The pumpkin and crab soup, the salad with figs, the short ribs, and the fungi risotto were all delicious. The service was stellar. We declined dessert but were brought a plate of house made french macaroons. This, along with the amuse-bouche of shrimp to start really impressed upon us how special this place truly is. This is considered fine dining (wear a nice shirt and pants! they do kind of check!), so enjoy it for what it is: beautiful

The Sugar Mill is a real treat inside a resort that is full special and unique gifts for its guests. The food was consistently outstanding, which is often missing in more remote island locations. Service staff was always friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is comfortable, romantic and airy with open air seating to the ocean just yards away. Get there a bit early to secure a beachfront seat and listen to the was signifcantly waves with your dinner. The Sugar Mill is a real upgrade in atmosphere to the main restaurant, the Pavillion, and worth putting on a pair of slacks and paying the slight premium in overall costs to enjoy a lovely romantic dinner with the one you love.

I had the salmon and pasta for my entree and the lobster risotto for an appetizer. The salmon was so fresh and not overdone at all! Combined with the pesto linguine this was the most fulfilling meal of our stay. I wish I could have it every night! And I would definitely go back for more.

It was good food, but not to die for and the dress code for men is pretentious and unnecessary in the islands - long pants, closed shoes & collared shirt. This crowd understand nice shorts & a collared shirt. The prices are high because many things are imported, but it was overrated in my book.
