“Fabulous location and great food”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

Went for happy hour ($3.50 Painkillers) Watched the Tarpon feeding and then had dinner

Good selection - pricey but they have a wonderful salad buffet with the main courses so you don't need a starter. W had steaks, burgers, scallops (small portion) Really nice. 2 of our (older) kids shared a portion of chicken wings which they declared the best food all holiday (a bit depressing given they had eaten lobster!)

“Great Stop!”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

Saba Rock is one of our favourite places to stop when sailing around the BVI. Great bar and restaurant. Pretty views from all around and lovely sitting area. Definitely go if you are sailing around the BVI

“Neat spot but ordinary meal”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

We took a group of family and friends to Saba Rock last week and enjoyed the beautiful views of North Sound. The ferry from Saba is terrific and the drivers we really responsive and helpful. Our meals were fine - more typical of resort fare than anything interesting or authentic - and the service OK at best. We sat down in the bar and waited a good 10 minutes to be acknowledged and only then after flagging a passing waitress. Saba is a nice spot to visit and the tarpons are ever present and fun to watch. But there is better food and service around North Sound with the same wonderful views.

The beauty of Saba Rock is fabulous. Looking out over Gorda Sound in the open air bar and restaurant is wonderful. The food is really good also.

“So much fun packed on a rock!”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Such a cool spot in the middle of the North Sound. We had driven past it several times while exploring in our Boston Whaler. As recommended by a few at our resort, we decided to stop by for happy hour and the tarpon feeding. Only accessible by boat, we used the complimentary water taxi/ferry service provided by Saba Rock. The boat arrived right on time and dropped us off right at the tarpon feeding sight. Their happy hour included three drink options - Painkiller, Rum Punch, and Caribe - for $3.50. We had both of the mixed drinks and they were good, but nothing great. Still an excellent offering for such a prime location. We did watch the tarpon feeding, which was neat. But the real excitement is walking around the island and taking in the amazing views. Very impressive and comfortable seating is available all around the island - from wicker couches, chairs, sectionals, ottomans, to wooden chairs. I was worried it would be difficult to find a seat, but we truly had our pick of any seat. Our favorite spot was a couch and ottoman on the back deck - we could have stayed there all night. They even has a small beach area with beach chairs and hammocks.

Definitely worth the trip over, especially for happy hour. Be sure to ask about the complimentary ferry schedule to plan your time on the rock. We did not see the menu for the restaurant, but were disappointed they didn't offer more happy hour snack options. We only saw a cheese plate that was around $20.
