Owner description: The most well-known attraction on the island, these giant boulders or batholiths, brought to the surface by volcanic eruptions, are scattered about forming a beautiful grotto and tranquil pools.

This was our third trip over 13 years. At 66 I am getting a bit old for this as it requires climbing up stairs and use of ropes and can be a bit slippery. Think of it as a large number of huge boulders thrown on top of one another and you walk underneath. Don't forget your compact camera!
Also have several nice beach's.

I recommend going early as can get busy with two way traffic. Their are taxi service for $ 4.00 which takes you from the port entrance to the baths.

After hearing so many people tell me "you have to see this it's so amazing" I started to think seriously how cool could this be it's just a bunch of big rocks? No it's really that amazing. The best part is the tricky 15 minute climb/walk through the baths to devil's bay. Do this if you're in decent shape otherwise don't risk it.

Just returned from our Carnival Cruise with a stop off at Tortola. We visited the Baths at Virgin Gorda and would highly recommend this attraction to EVERYONE!! We travelled by ferry from the dock then boarded an open air bus to the area. Hiking down to the Baths was sooo much fun, like an adult jungle gym, but nothing treacherous. Once there, the caves and boulders were AMAZING......we could have stayed and played all day. The water and beach are breath-taking. Definetely one to put on, or in our case, check off the bucket list!!!

One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. It wasn't easiest of destinations from Jost Van Dyke in fairly rough seas, but the payoff was worth it!

We reach the beach with our sailboat and we stayed there for about 2 weeks and we enjoyed every day! Clean white sand! Perfect for swimming! Quiet! AWESOME!
