Owner description: The most well-known attraction on the island, these giant boulders or batholiths, brought to the surface by volcanic eruptions, are scattered about forming a beautiful grotto and tranquil pools.

The most important thing to say is get there early! Be there at least between 8 and 9 am so that you can have it almost all to your self. It is a beautiful and enchanting location. Since we were on a cruise ship we arrange a private driver to take us directly to the Baths from Gun Creek, it was a scenic 30 min drive. We had him by pass all of the typical tourist stop and went directly to the Baths and it was well worth it we had it to our selves.

We started at the Top of the Baths then continued down and made our way to Devils Bay. At this spot we had all of Devils Bay to our selves around 10:30 am. Once we started to head back around 11:30 the crowds started to appear. They come from all over to check this place out and as would be expected it is beautiful.

You can also choose to arrive by water but unless it is a calm day it will be a challenge to get to the shore and you will be dodging other people and boats. I highly suggest if you have limited time and really want to see the Baths just drive there.
One the way back don't forget to make a stop at the Top of The Baths , there is a great sushi bar and cocktails to be had with an amazing view!!!Plus you can take a dip in the pool located up there.

go early, or go late afternoon to avoid the crowds. This tourist attraction is a must when visiting Virgin Gorda

This is the most amazing beach I have been too and I have been to a lot. To get there is not easy but when you do it is all worth the time and energy. If coming to Tortula don't miss this but you have to allocate your time wisely for the trip. Take the ferry, then a cab ride in an open air jitney the through a bit of rugged trails will get you there and wow!!!. Once there do the caves go through the rock formations to get to the other side which is a bit quieter because you have to track through narrow pathways to get there. The water is heavenly crystal clear and the beautiful rock formation are a must see.

This was a fun surprise. On our second visit to Virgin Gorda we decided to go see what everyone was talking about. It is definitely worth the walk down to the caves. The huge boulders and walking through the caves is definitely worth it. Be sure to not go on a day that the Cruise ship is in port because it is crazy busy.

We decided to go to The Baths in Virgin Gorda when we were in Tortola on a cruise. We had planned our itinerary, which should have gotten us there before the cruise crowd. We walked over to Speedy's Ferry and bought two round trip tickets ($67usd ferry and taxi included).
When we got to the Baths ($3 usd for entry for non-resident) it was pretty busy, much more than we were hoping for. The beach was nice, the boulders are something to see.
I had a Painkiller ($6usd) at the restaurant down by the beach.
We decided to try for Devil's Bay and see if it was a bit less crowded.
I am not sure what review rating to give this place, It is between good and very good. The beach is very good but small, the amount of people makes it is less good. I will err on the side of caution and give this a very good. If you are limited mobility note that there is a bit of a walk from the road to the beach.
