“Be Aware of Pad Thai”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

This restaurant has atmosphere and good service. But, be aware that the Pad Thai is not for real. It was not at all like Pad Thai should be. It was missing tamarind sauce and the egg. I can understand substituting bok choy for bean sprouts, but substituting an oil and rice vinegar type sauce for tamarind sauce is inexcusable. Everyone else raved about how good their food was

Hello.
Thank you for visiting us at CocoMaya.
I am pleased the rest of your party enjoyed themselves and enjoyed their food. I am however - surprised by your comments about the Pad Thai as I personally expedite in the kitchen and get to try the food each night. Our pad Thai sauce contains no rice wine vinegar. It absolutely contains tamarind sauce...we have shelves full of it as the Pad Thai is our #1 seller. It also has lime juice and fish sauce in it. When we can source fresh sprouts - they absolutely are in the dish.
I am sorry we did not meet your Pad Thai standards. I will chat about this with the kitchen. Hopefully we will see you back here whilst you are on VG.
Thank you for your feedback.

“LA attitude in Virgin Gorda”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

it's the one of the best restaurants on virgin gorda. the setting is super, and the food can be very good. but the attitude is not virgin gorda, it's LA. often it's like any other meat market water hole in a big city. catch it on the right night and it's very nice.

Great food and wonderful service- we went twice this March. Do not miss if you visit VG. We love the tapas - mix of Asian and Caribbean flavors.

“Exceptional Service and Beach Party at Night”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

While we didn't have a chance to eat here (reservations were all booked based on the popularity) we had an absolute blast partying the night away on the beach. Bar staff was extremely attentive and responsive, even with the large crowd that was there as a part of Yacht Week. Have told many of our friends about the great experience and recommended that they check it out if they ever make their way to Virgin Gorda. Top notch all around!

“Lovely atmosphere, view and service”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

Our family of 7 had a great dinner at CM. We ate Tapas style, passed the small plates and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The view is magnificent! It rained hard during our meal but we stayed dry despite the open air arrangement. Family friendly, chic feel, excellent service, I'd highly recommend.
