“Good island food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 February 2014

Angie at Coconut Junction is a great cook. Tonight we had ribs, fried chicken , crispy and not at all greasy, rice and beans, cole slaw. All in all, it was a excellent well balanced meal in a cordial atmosphere. The beer was cold, a nice accompaniment to a good meal.
We will return!

“Worst meal ever”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 February 2014

If you're looking for a small, informal, family run place where the food has already been cooked (perhaps days earlier) and then half-nuked to order, look no further. As far as the drinks menu goes, if you're interested in any festive island cocktails or the like you'd better drink them before arriving: all they have is a refrigerator filled with Gatorade and beer. We were "greeted" by a rather unfriendly soul who ischastised us for parking incorrectly - it wasn't Angie, she wasn't there (probably at home writing more reviews of her restaurant). I started with a bowl of pig-tail soup, which wasn't terrible (but barely hot enough). Then we watched in horror as our plates of "food" were assembled in the kitchen, then taken across the room and put into the microwave. Yes - even the bread (Johnnie Cake) is nuked, along with fried snapper filets, pasta, and the rest. The good news: it's fast...it all arrives on the table in a matter of minutes. But it's cold (I had to ask to have mine re-nuked), and all but inedible. We re-grouped back in our hotel restaurant afterwards, and attempted to salvage the evening with a few drinks and desert. By far the worst vacation meal ever.

“Hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 January 2014 via mobile

Don't be alarmed by the small restaurant.

Whether you are a local or a tourist the owner Angie will welcome you!

The atmosphere was full of energy and we were in high spirits!

We ordered the snapper, ribs, the black bean chicken and Everything tasted great! We liked it so much we decided to invite her to cook for us at our home that we were staying at on the ocean. She delightfully agreed and we were extremely happy!

Don't miss an opportunity to eat at such a local place! She is half the cost of any island restaurant with the same quality of food.

Enjoy!

“Simply the best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 January 2014 via mobile

The food at Coconut Junction is wonder. Angie is an angel. The food is as good or better than anywhere on the island and half the price. Thanks for teaching us what a Jonny Cake is! We will stop back before we leave. This restaurant is a must do.

“Delightful experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 January 2014

Our family of 8 stopped in to this restaurant and experienced a wonderful caribbean meal and hospitality.
Angie is the owner/ chef/ waitress and bartender. And she did it all with a smile.
Delicious made from scratch, local flavors. Loved it so much we went back a second time!!
