This establishment was recommended by the guy driving our dive boat as one of his favorite watering holes and places to grab a bite. Other locals also suggested it as well, it did not disappoint.
Mermaid's sits out in the water on the end of a dock; so the view is great - nice breeze. Huge Tarpon swimming around the lights they have placed underwater to attract smaller fish that they eat. The seafood is fresh (I had King Mackerel with excellent potato salad and peas/rice), many local foods prepared with just the right flavor, strong drinks and friendly service. A group of interesting young locals even brought us a round of Mamajuana.
