I booked the Private Chartered boat for my family of 8. It was great!!! It was only us on the boat, our captain Devon was a really nice guy.
I had spoke to one of the girls in their office and told her what I wanted our excursion to include. She was very nice and then immediately sent me out an e-mail confirmation with what we discussed.
We went to the Stingray spot first, we saw all the boats that had so many people on them, some as many as probably 100. We were so thankful we were not one of them. We had Devon to ourselves and he took great care of us so we all felt comfortable with the stingrays.

Next we went snorkeling and then we went to another spot to do a Conch Dive. This was amazing, we even saw a sea turtle there that was about 300 pounds. Devon said that was the biggest one he had seen in a very long time. Everyone was excited to get their own Conch.

After that we went to Starfish beach, this beach is absolutely beautiful!!! We saw a few starfish that were a vibrant orange/red they were awesome.

When we were finished at the beach we went back to the marina where we were greeted by Katy our van driver and the owner Frank himself. Frank drove back with us to the port area, while we drove he talk about Grand Cayman. He loves his country as he should Grand Cayman is beautiful!!! It has beautiful beaches, it is extremely safe no crime and the people were all friendly.

There was a store I had wanted to go to near the port area, so we were dropped off right in front. Everything about this tour was PERFECT and the price is great for what you get. I do plan on going back to Grand Cayman and I would without a doubt book with Frank's again!!! Thank you for making our trip unforgetable in a great way!!

Frank's is the best! We travel to the Caymans yearly. We've been on other charters, this is the cheapest private charter on the island as well as the best. You can decide on almost anything, whether you want to fish, go snorkeling, or do both. When you book a full day, the Captain, ours has always been the sam, will cook a fresh lunch of what you catch right there on board, so lobster season is amazing! It was absolutely delicious. It was one of the best experiences of my life, they pick you up from wherever you are staying, you get right on the boat, we fished for a while, moved around, fished some more, then we dove right into the water and went snorkeling. Our captain took us to the regular spots, but also to spots where we were the only ones there. We then got called up for lunch. It was an absolutely amazing experience and the people are the friendliest people. They even meet you at the boat when you are finished and take you back to your resort. no waiting, no busses, no taxis. Can't wait to go again!

Captain Frank and first mate are not setting sail with the latest fiberglass state of the art monster boat crammed with tourists. This is a well worn boat that has seen many excersions, but is the type of boat that the everyday seaman captains. The advantage to traveling with Captain Frank is that he is the real deal. This is the excersion you want to take your family on...not the "plastic" variety. From start to finish it was a personal experience. Like other reviewers have said, the "monster boat" people leave their area to come over to Captain Frank. With the trip, snacks and beverages ( only stingray tour that I know of serving rum punch-included) it is half the price of other tours and is an authentic Cayman experience.

Frank's tour of Stingray city and other snorkeling sites was outstanding! Our tour had a total of 8 people taking us to 4 separate spots, including Stingray City. While we saw other tours with people packed in like sardines, we were able to relax on a spacious boat operated by a couple of experienced seamen (Frank and his first mate). The snorkeling sites were among the best I've ever witnessed. The water is so crystal clear you can see underwater for probably over 100 feet in spots. We did the day tour which included a lunch of lobster, fish, jerk chicken, and conch. The lunch itself was worth the price of admission.

If you prefer to be on brand spanking new boat, with tour guides chronicling every move, free WIFI and do your Stingray city tour packed to the gills with other tourists crammed into the water for 15-20 minutes, then Frank's tour isn't for you. But if you want a relaxing day to enjoy the blue-green waters of the Caribbean, I can't imagine a better tour than Frank's.

We did this as private shore excursion while on a cruise. We met our contact at the port and we went to the dock and met Captain Frank and his first mate.

There were only 11 of us (9 adults and 2 kids) on the boat. This had to be the smallest group at Stingray city. The first mate jumped off the boat with us and made sure we all got to hold and feed a ray. Some of the mega-group boats did not have a guide to do this and they actually started honing in on ours. If you want to make sure you get to interact with the rays, don't go with these big tours! Stingray city is very busy and populated. This has nothing to do with this tour provider, but you should know before you go. It's not a serious snorkel/ swimming site.

We had a snorkel at a second stop and free drinks and chips on the way back into the dock.

My only complaint was that some of the snorkel gear is getting a little older and I had a problem with leaks in my mask. If you are particular and have your own, you might want to bring it, but if not theirs will do just fine.

They got us back to port with several hours to spare before our ship left. Their price was amazing and you got personal service. There's no reason to go with those big boat tours when you could go with Frank.
