“Laid back”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

We stayed at Cayman Kai and would walk up to Rum point every morning before it got going very beautiful place to see the sun rise and set from. We also did a sunset sail from there and had dinner at the Rum Point Club both experiences were very enjoyable.

“I don't know why people like this place so much”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

Nothing special. I really don't see the big hype of this place. Super overpriced drinks and food. There is a beach, but there are a ton of people there all the time so it's super overcrowded. Definitely a tourist trap that draws people in by the name. All that's really there is just a couple of places to eat, a little shop, and that's about it. It sucks.

“Best Mudslide bar none”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Great place to hang out (on beach or in bar) and have the ultimate island drink in its native habitat.

“Relaxing”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

We went to rum point while we waited for the bioluminescence bay tour to start. There is kayaks on the beach with a restaurant and a bar. The area is very small....not your typical public beach, but it is super relaxing. This area is much quieter than Seven Mile Beach, so if that is what you are looking for, this is perfect! I suggest visiting at least once though!!!

“Never changes!”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

In all my visits to Rum point over the years, its still beautiful. Calm waters, small beach. Popular with the locals. Didn't eat there. Snook of to the car once then did Kurts Korner second time! Nice clean showers to get rid of all the sand. Worth a visit if you have a car!
