“Beautiful except for the humans........”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

this is a wonderful place to visit. The biggest disappointment was that people don't respect them. There were parents that let there kids throw them!
People if you go teach you children to be respectful of the sea creatures. They need to be kept in the water and handled GENTLY!!! never thrown. place them gently back on the bottom.
There was another man picking up urchins and trowing them on the beach. He said he was worried some one might step on them..... you have a better chance stepping on them on the beach and a the one in a thousand chance of stepping on a random one in the water!
over all our family loved visiting here, but were just horrified how asinine people really are.

“Great Experience”
Reviewed 7 July 2014

Was worth the drive to Star Fish Point. It was very calm and peaceful. We saw 10 to 15 star fish. The water was knee deep and very, very clear. We rented a car and visited Star Fish Point and Rum Point. They are very close together and made for a great day.

“Fun Experience!”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

Great beaches in the North End of the island with hundreds of starfish! The water is really shallow so you can walk out and find and pick up tons of starfish. It seemed to get kind of crowded with both people from cars and from boats towards the end of the day, but still provided a fun, unique opportunity and lots of great photo ops!

“Nice place with lot's of starfish”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

We went in the morning before anyone comes there and saw lot's of starfish of different colors. Young starfish is usually green, mature one is red, yellow or orange. There are some brownish ones too. Nice sand, clear water. There are iguanas and lizards too. Good for babies and young kids.

“Great starfish, but the beach there needs cleaning!”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

We stayed nearby, so we were able to walk to Starfish Point. On the first couple of trips there, the weather was cloudy, so were were pretty much the only people there, and saw many, many starfish. But we did notice the beach needed cleaning. Later in our stay, we returned to snorkel, but there were so many boats and people. The starfish seemed to be gone. I can only hope the starfish moved, and were not disturbed by all the folks there. The beach was an absolute mess. Visitors there certainly need to clean up after themselves!
