Description: Macabuca Oceanside Tiki Bar & Grill is a great place to enjoy the Caribbean Sea and watch the sunset... or the divers. Be sure to try our signature Macabuca Punch made with 5 rums, passion fruit and ginger ale, you won't be disappointed! Serving appetizers like the conch ceviche, conch fritters, calamari and coconut shrimp & our signature curry, fish & chips and the Big Maca Burger; there's something for everyone. Don't forget to leave room for dessert, our homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches are a great way to finish up a hot day in the sun. We are located just a block past The Cayman Turtle Farm or Dolphin Discovery on North West Point Road in West Bay.

I have been to this restaurant/tiki bar twice over the past year. The location is great - right on the water and facing the direction of the beautiful Cayman sunsets.

Service has been consistently good, with a decent cocktail selection and tasty dishes - they have many selections that are the local conch which are worth trying, according to my companion (who likes conch - I don't). The mini sandwich trio is a nice variety of flavours, and the hot cuban panini is very well put-together. The music they play is a good selection of upbeat tunes and reggae - it fits the feel of the place. You can belly up to the bar and watch the large screen TV installed up in the palapa at one end.

Prices are typical for Grand Cayman.

The location is right next to the Cracked Conch restaurant, and they have a shore dive (and a local dive shop - Sundivers) which is a really nice dive. Being able to relax with a drink after a great Cayman dive is a very nice feature of the place.

We will return.

We tried this out Monday night and was VERY disappointed. We walked in and had to find someone to make sure we could seat ourselves... then when we finally got someone to come to our table they took our drink order and that was it. They came back with the drinks and told us they only served the bbq and no other menu items but we could order from the cracked conch upstairs. We waited 10-15 minutes to get a menu and never got one. Very disappointed, we had read good things and was looking for a nice evening. We saw another family frustrated as well.... they waited a long time for the check and then got the wrong check. I think the servers on Monday must be the worst they have based on other reviews.

Conch Platter is the best I've had on the Cayman and Bahamas. Wife had fried red snapper, it's great deal and the fish is friend perfectly. No it's not fried red snapper fillets, but the whole fish!! The view is nice and the price is reasonable for the kind of food it delivers.
